San Lucero Restaurant & Wine Bar is located on the heart of Cabo San Lucas, a comfortable and elegant place with a terrace with a pool and views of the city that create a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere. Our kitchen, orchestrated by Chef Victor Barrera, offers a variety of dishes full of personality and flavor. All made with the best quality ingredients that are complemented by our extensive list of imported Chilean Wines. Imagine a juicy Rib Eye cooked to perfection, accompanied by Basmati rice and vegetables paired with a Cabernet Sauvignon. We are distinguished by our homemade bread, delicious cinnamon rolls and other desserts that you can enjoy with a delicious cappuccino. In turn, all the pastas on our menu are made at home, we recommend our fettuccini Alfredo with Shrimp, an excellent pairing with a Chardonnay. Happy Hour from 4PM to 6PM, 2x1 in national drinks. Had the surf and turf and it was utterly disgusting. The “filet” was basically an overcooked shoe and the lobster was literally destroyed. Mentioned this to the waiter and he said “ok” and nothing else was done about it. The “sea bass” was nothing more than overcooked tilapia. Those who ordered tacos and burgers seemed to enjoy their meals, however.

We were here Dec 30 2024. I booked because it was relatively close to us and the reviews were positive. Reviewers are right: this is a hidden gem. I was a little nervous at first since it seemed away from the touristy area, but there are some other cool places in this neighborhood too. San Lucero is pretty and cute, but more importantly, the food was great. We were a group of nine and ordered steak, salmon, pasta, burger, chicken-basically the whole menu- and everyone loved their food. The drinks were also great and the service was great too. They also let us sit and chat. Such a great experience. So thankful we found San Lucero!

Restaurante San Lucero is a true hidden gem! The service and food were outstanding!!! We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Alex Gonzalez, world renowned chef! He took the time to chat with us and tell us about his extraordinary experience. This was a true delight! I HIGHLY recommend!!

This has become our go to last minute option. There is parking, daily specials, etc. yes there is a “counter” with a bunch of TVs which might be nice for sports but there are plenty of table options as well. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

This is a hidden gem! The food is outstanding. The drink menu is creative and has something for everyone. The service was top notch. The ambiance is kind of like a cafe so it doesn’t match the quality of the food but once you start eating you will forget all about it. Some of the best food we have had in Cabo. Definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend!

Lasagne was undercooked, lukewarm warm in the middle and the cheese was not fully melted on top. Disappointing from a taste and value perspective.

Chef Alex Gonzalez is an amazing cook! A hidden gem in Cabo. Everything tasted absolutely fantastic! At first, we were disappointed that it looks kind of like a Denny’s cafe when you walk in but almost immediately we were very glad we went. The service was top-notch and every dish was incredible.

This great restaurant is off the beaten track but worth it. Was about a 15-20 walk from marina but Urber will get you there in 3 mins. Service was awesome, food was great. They had some really nice wines too. We are here for a week so are going back. Menu has something for everyone. We had the paella since the chef was from Spain. Yum

The staff were very attentive. The restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. It is in need of a remodel to loose its “diner” ambiance. The complimentary focaccia was cold but had good texture. Cesar salads were heavy with processed croutons and very little cheese. I ordered the chef special fresh fish prepared toscana style. The sauce was good, a blend of tomatoes, artichokes and onion. The fish however, was not fresh and probably frozen and overcooked. It was served with decently grilled carrots and zucchini and a serving of gloppy mushroom risotto that lacked any flavor😞 Husband had house special pollo San Lucero. Again, nothing to rave about, served with a very bland serving of fettuccine noodles. The wine list was decent, but no standouts. This restaurant needs to up their game if they want to compete in food games in Cabo!
