   Beautiful restaurant. Incredible view when the shades are drawn open. The food is good, but the service is sub par. The poor service is surprising given the prices they charge, and the clientele they’re serving. The restaurant has a reputation for bad service. But, let’s not kid ourselves. You’re going for the view and the ambience, and that’s what you’re paying for.

   My friend and I had a very nice dinner at RH last night. The food we ordered was perfectly prepared and delicious. We will definitely be back. The views from this restaurant are great!

   First time here everything was amazing! We order peach Bellini and mimosa. Appetizer we order the truffle fries & grilled shrimp 10/10 🤩 for entrees we order RH Burger and the Lobster roll 10/10.

   Terrible service. Took 15 mins after we sat down to see our server and order food. Took almost 1 hr to get food. Our food was cold. Our server spent most of her time on the phone and does not care about her job at all. One of the worst server I have ever had in years.

   The food was really amazing. Service was slow to start but then fine. Great place to have a conversation. Not too loud. Bright and beautiful. I have the scramble and a vanilla latte with a side of sausage and all of it was amazing !

   I’m not the one to give a review or make a bad comment every restaurant should be given a chance but this time I can’t stay quiet. We visited the restaurant for my daughter’s 18th birthday. I had made my reservations over 1 month ago. We were all very excited to experience the new restaurant. The service was slow. But we figured let’s just enjoy each other’s company. Our food came out later then people who were seated after us. We asked for lemon with our waters and we were done drinking a glass of water before our lemon came which I had to ask for again. I asked for milk or cream with our Americana coffee, it never showed up. When our breakfast arrived our food was warm and the potatoes room temp/cold. The scrambled eggs my husband ordered did not look like real eggs. Water on our table ran out and we had to start sharing water before I spotted our wait staff to flag down and ask for more water. Not sure if we will visit again unless it just to enjoy the view

   Tonight was our first time dining at RH Newport. We’ve dined serval times at the Yountville location. Yountville is very dialed in. It’s beautiful and the food and service are impeccable. Our experience tonight in Newport was mixed. We were seated on the left outdoor patio. We sat outside expecting to have a view. No table has an ocean view. That was a huge disappointment. It’s like living down the street from the ocean. Close but no cigar. In our opinion most of the boxwood hedge needs to come out so that people can enjoy the view. The patio isn’t lit well. The outdoor tables need rechargeable lamps. The heaters are inadequate and poorly placed. Half of the heaters are basically hanging off into the aisles. The music on the patio sucks. It’s coming out of only one speaker which is in the middle of a booth. There’s no way anyone could sit in that booth and have a conversation. Our server was pretty good. I don’t recall his name. He had tables inside and outside. That caused some delays. Not his fault. The food was good. We shared a bottle of wine which was good. We also didn’t understand a place that big on the ocean not having a liquor license. We would go back but for lunch. Hopefully the view situation can be resolved. We felt like we were in an English courtyard with zero view. No one sitting down has a view. The other thing we didn’t love is all of the people not eating there that are allowed to walk around freely and take pics and videos while other people are paying to try and have a nice dinner. If you’re not dining in the restaurant perhaps they could enjoy the view from the third floor.
