   Our first time eating here, despite being locals. The food isn't fancy, but it is good. Mostly authentic Bavarian fare, with a few modern dishes or modern takes on tradition (i.e., habanero-cheddar or Sichuan wursts). Good local tap line. And 5 indoor bocce ball courts! Where else can you find that in Seattle? We went early on a Friday before an event, and the place was pretty sleepy other than a private party at the back. The service was slow but friendly. I think they were still ramping up for the dinner crowd. It is a big place, with lots of seating. Outdoor garden seating with another bocche court as well. I can imagine it might get a bit loud when full. We will definitely go back.

   The taste was awful, we ended up not eating very much. Didn't complain, just paid $65 and left. Went somewhere else and ate dinner. Very sad, had high expectations. Sliders, only 2 and they were just ok. Pork snitzel was horrible tasting. Hard to believe an easy dish could go so wrong. House salad was awful. The fancy, bitter tasting lettuces used ruined it for me.

    So much fun. We shared the huge pretzel, which was excellent. All three dips were delicious. Two of us ordered the pork schnitzel and two of us ordered the goulash. We tasted each others and all agreed the food was superb! Wait staff very friendly and helpful! Great experience.
