T2D Concepts, the purpose-driven hospitality group led by chef Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley, has cooked up its latest concept, Radici Wood-Fired Grill. Meaning “roots” in Italian, Radici draws inspiration from Tiffany's early experiences in Italian restaurants, Tom's maternal heritage, and both Tiffany and Tom's travels through Italy. The menu changes based on seasonal availability and centers around meats and vegetables prepared in a wood-fired grill and a selection of fresh pastas made daily.

    Maddy gave us great service as usual and her recommendation for new menu items was spot on! The new bruschetta was complex in taste and had depth. The vodka dish is our new favorite pasta. The b filet was super tasty seasoned very well.

    We were seated in a quiet cozy alcove to the right of the hostess stand. Started the meal with the meatballs app, they were moist due to the correct meat mixture, but a little too much garlic for my taste, Chef should try adding some grated Romano and Parmesan to her mix. Mine are better😊. We shared the white lasagna and bolognese pasta for our entrees and had glasses of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir to accompany. The lasagna was good but wouldn’t order again, wanted to try it. The bolognese was great and I liked the Chef’s noodle choice. Had tiramisu for dessert with espresso. The crispy phyllo chips on top were not needed, added nothing to the taste although I understand the Chef was trying to add “texture” to the dish. Tiramisu was great but my espresso cup had a large chip on the rim facing me. Flipped it around and drank with my left hand. Hopefully the cup was trashed after service. All in all a good meal and I liked the portion sizes, like what you would get in Florence. Came away amply full with no to go containers, which I hate to see leaving upscale restaurants. BRUNO

    We wanted to celebrate our soft retirement with a nice dinner. After seeing Chef Tiffany Derry on TV on several occasions, we knew had wanted to try one of her and Chef Tom Foley's restaurants here in DFW. When we saw a recent post about the 5pm to 6pm pasta hour special at Radici, we took it as a sign! Such a memorable evening for us! Chef Tiffany and Chef Tom are so friendly and personable. It was a real treat to meet them both!! The staff, especially Lance, were on point with excellent service. The drinks were sublime...the Angelo Azzuro was delicate and citrus-y, (and deliciously strong!), and truly a thing of beauty to see. The rye old fashioned could not have tasted better! Our appetizers would have made a lovely luncheon by themselves. We had the tortellini en brodo and the polpette. Those three meatballs were light and balanced and the marinara was just nommy! We had the pomodoro pasta and the bolognese for dinner. Both were excellent. I especially enjoyed the house-made mafaldini pasta with the bolognese. Dessert was delightful. The tiramisu was creamy and decadent. The pistachio olive oil cake with blood orange hit the spot. The topper of the evening was the house-made limoncello. Best we've ever tasted! We'll definitely be back.

    My wife and I took my mother for her birthday and we had a great dinner. The service was immaculate and the food was incredible. We’re already planning our next visit. Our server, Maddie was excellent, along with the rest of the staff.

    This is my third visit to the restaurant in the last month. The food is outstanding, especially the tortellini, which is perfectly prepared. The drinks are good, too. It is the best Italian restaurant in Dallas and would be a top restaurant in any US city.

    OMG!! What an experience, everything was great food, service, atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and explained everything on the menu. The focaccia is a must! It melts in your mouth. We had a seat in front the kitchen, Chef Tiffany was there this night and I was in awe watching her cook. Will definitely be back!

    Really liked this place! Try the meatballs! Service was awesome! We came with our two children. Not really a place for kids. (Example: no kids menu). The staff was very welcoming. Our kids are off our plates.

    We had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Radici from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and every aspect of the meal exceeded our expectations. We started with drinks and appetizers, which were perfectly crafted. The seafood salad was a standout – fresh, flavorful, and an absolute must-try. For our main courses, we indulged in the Osso Buco, Braised Rabbit, and Eggplant Involtini. Each dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with flavor, and truly unforgettable. We’re so glad we saved room for dessert because the olive oil cake was one of the most unique and delightful treats we’ve ever had. The service was exceptional – our servers were attentive, the management checked in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves, and the wine sommelier’s expertise added a special touch to our meal. Radici has earned a spot as one of our favorite Italian restaurants, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!
