T2D Concepts, the purpose-driven hospitality group led by chef Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley, has cooked up its latest concept, Radici Wood-Fired Grill. Meaning “roots” in Italian, Radici draws inspiration from Tiffany's early experiences in Italian restaurants, Tom's maternal heritage, and both Tiffany and Tom's travels through Italy. The menu changes based on seasonal availability and centers around meats and vegetables prepared in a wood-fired grill and a selection of fresh pastas made daily.

    We got the pasta hour 3 course along with a few other menu items including the wood fired pork chop, all was incredible. Our favorite item we had was probably the tortellini in duck broth, really incredible. Hope to visit again next month for my birthday!

    Best food and service in the city. Always consistent. Staff offered the best service. We go every birthday anniversary and often take friends or family.

    Asked about a 14$ wine and was recommended an off menu wine by the waitress. Wasn't told the glass was $40 smh and she wanted me to get two. The place also smelled bad.

    I looked forward to Radici after all the good reviews. We had three appetizers (bruschetta, tortellini, roasted beets), which were delicious. The entree's were so-so. Chicken Parmesan was average and had an odd taste. The crust was so thick it could barely be cut with the butter knife they provided. The Wagyu skirt steak was much better, but also could barely be cut with the steak knife they provided. None of the other entrees interested me and none are particularly Italian. Maybe the pasta is better. Was really looking forward to the white bean side, but it was more of a soup and nothing special. The service is excellent. The restaurant plays loud rock music from a speaker outside the door (tacky) and the same music is played inside. It's a noisy, cavernous space so maybe they think blaring loud music covers up the noise, especially since the kitchen is in view. They finally switched to 70's music toward the end. The music is incongruous with a restaurant that wants to be upscale Italian. I paid $250 for loud rock music and average entrees. Also I do not agree with the credit card (and debit card) fee they charge if you don't pay cash, when the menu items and drinks are already quite expensive. If I go again I will only have appetizers and drinks, maybe pasta. Partenope is true Italian and excellent, so not sure if there will be a second time for Radici.

    Once again, the food was absolutely outstanding, and the service was exceptional. This time, we had the pleasure of sitting right by the open kitchen, which added a great touch to the experience. Chef Tiffany and her team were flawless, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I've become a regular and will definitely be returning!
