The food was a mixed bag, from mediocre to excellent. The entrees (filet, duck, and crab cakes) were all delicious, while the starters (caesar salad and onion soup) were a bit blah. The dessert, a strawberry shortcake special with very few strawberries, was just kind of odd. But the portions were quite generous, and the prices weren't outrageous. Our server was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy, just what you want in an old Bucks County inn.

This was a Valentine’s Day date. They sat us near the fireplace which was warm and cozy. Ask to sit elsewhere if you do not want to smell like campfire for the rest of the night lol. We did not mind it one bit and found it romantic. The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for on Valentine’s Day. We got the Fig Toasts and shared a bowl of lobster stew (1/4 of lobster!). We Highly recommend both. I got the Boursin Filet. I would probably choose medium over medium rare next time but, it was still delicious with the Demi-Glacé and Boursin. She got the ‘Will you Marry Me’ Chicken which was topped with lumped crab meat. We were very happy with the food and service! We would return in the future for dinner or to try out their brunch menu.

We decided to expand our search beyond local restaurants and were not disappointed! The Riegelsville Inn is very Authentic (1836 Circa I believe) is just a stone’s throw away from the Delaware River. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Appetizer’s included Lobster Stew with main dishes Salmon and Duck were done exceptionally well. Our waiter Dan was attentive and provided over the top service including the stoking of the large fireplace in the room. We will be back to try the many varied dishes on the menu and look forward to greeting Dan on our return visits.

We had a great time and look forward to our next visit. We had a small group so we were placed in a small seating area by ourselves and it was perfect. The food was excellent and the drinks incredible!

We had a great evening at the Riegelsville Inn. Sitting by a wood fire on a cold evening made the dining experience cozy and romantic. Our server Brenda was attentive and pleasant. The tomato bisque soup was amazing and the black bean burger one of the best we have had. Can't wait to return on a live music night.
