My boyfriend and I just recently moved to the La Quinta area and we’ve been looking for new restaurants to try. Ristorante Mamma Gina was exceptional! The food was delicious and plated so beautifully. Our server Aaron was incredibly kind and took such great care of us. He recommended a Cabernet that I ended up having 2 glasses of. We will definitely be back. :)

We were on time but the waiter made us feel so rushed that it was nerve wracking! He disappeared a few times before we had a chance to ask him questions. The same with the manager who passed by our table long enough to ask how the food was and then he abruptly turned to inquire at the next table! The cocktails were served with sticky sugar syrup on the stems. One guest found the pasta to be more spicy than she was expecting, my squid-ink raviolis had a tasty sauce but lobster was not discernible at all, the pork chop and fish were fine. The female wait staff was pleasant. Normally the service and food is good here.

Every time I'm in Palm Springs I go here for their friendly and welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere and absolutely delicious meals. Being a local, family owned restaurant also is important to me and everyone here seems like they really enjoy their job.

We felt rushed. The food was brought faster than we wanted. No sooner had we finished our main course when the dessert menu was brought to our table. No sooner had dessert been consumed then the bill was brought. In addition, the general weight staff was inexperienced rather than walk around the table to serve the entrée they reached across the table and across meals that had already been placed.
