   Our waiter Guillermo was a pleasure. The loud woman at the table next to us was not. Sitting upstairs is usually quaint and cozy and quieter. However the tables are so close together that it was difficult to screen out her voice.

   This was our second time eating at MV. The service is truly outstanding. The wait staff was never far from our table and accessible if needed. They don't rush you to order or eat. All the food was tasty and presented well in the plates and in generous portions. I had hoped for a scingili dish that I'd had before, but it was not on the menu that night. The shrimp dish I chose was great. Yes, we will go again.

   Normally we enjoy our meals here and for the most part this last one was fine, EXCEPT, one of our friends ordered the special black truffle fettuccine. The entree was OK, but for $68, really seemed out of line. We've had this exact same dish in Italy and it was ⅓ of the price and was much more interesting. Thought it was overpriced.

   Celebrated my 30th birthday here with my husband and the staff made me feel so special. The food was amazing- we had the chicken francese, Amatriciana, and chocolate torte. Our water glasses were never empty- such a fun night.

   Any day including Valentines Day is a great experience at Restaurant MV. The food is delicious, the servers efficient and make sure everything is to your liking, the atmosphere is always romantic and comfortable. We love this restaurant and consider it our #1 in NJ.

   We loved everything but the pre fix menu, wished we could have ordered off the regular menu, but we will be back when it’s not pre fixed. Anxious to try the Alla Bolognese and so many other dishes!
