    Would love to write an amazing review about the RIver Cafe. Have fond memories from visiting years ago. Unfortunately, we were given a table in the corner and sort of forgotten about. Had to get up twice to ask for service and it was an hour in between appetizers and dinner. Fine dining prices without a fine dining experience.

    Service was very slow but on the other hand very friendly. Ambience wasn’t what I expected, very old school and a bit boring. Food was overpriced and average quality. Kids had a bit of trouble finding something on the menu. Good desserts so. Since it was at the river there were small insects on the table. I can’t find anything really bad but also not something very good to mention about that place. Probably just not the right one for me …

    Excellent dinner! Our server was charming and we didn’t feel rushed. Sangria and Piña Colada were enjoyable. Would come back again!

    Coffee was delicious, breakfast 10/10! They sell the ground coffee as well. We had the green chilaquiles and the waiters were attentive and accommodated our needs. Had the beet carrot and orange juice, very good. Relaxing view by the river outdoors. Highly recommended.

    Great Christmas Eve experience and Dinner. Third year in a row, we love the River Cafe. Don’t forget to try the Sunday brunch, so good.
