   This was my first time dining here. As a local I had heard many mixed reviews. I knew from social media that the chicken and veal parm were the absolute must have. I went in with a completely open mind and very excited for the experience. We had a reservation for 4 (a reservation is a MUST) there are only 6 seats at the bar and very few tables in this quaint half circle shaped restaurant. We were seated in the very center of the restaurant within close proximity to the door. At first this seemed less than ideal but it was still warm, and it was actually fun being in the middle and watching the food and experiences happening around us. The goal was to try as much as possible and I would say we were extremely happy with over 90% of the meal. Our server Connor was absolutely amazing. It felt as if we were being served by the manager. He took so much time and care to help us with a wine choice and make us feel comfortable and not rushed. He was consistently making sure we were enjoying everything and didn't need anything. You are awesome Connor! He brought us sample of the two wines we were debating and gave us time to try, deliberate and decide. We settled on the Rizzo's red, which I highly recommend. Extremely smooth and drinkable. We started with the calamari. We loved the take on this simple app. The pieces were HUGE, and the sauce was a combination of a traditional red sauce with a creamy parm. Delicious! We tried both the Matty Salad and the Ceaser Salad. Both were outstanding. I will be craving and ordering the Maddy salad time and time again and through takeout. We then split the chicken parm and the veal parm, each with a side of pasta. The parms were not as large as the photos I had seen online but they were really good. Here is my only compliant. The pasta tasted like cheap box pasta. If you are going to charge $7 for a cup portion side of pasta, I expect fresh homemade pasta. :-) Make a reservation, you will not regret it.    Our fave! Had the vodka sauce for the first time….outstanding! Can’t wait to come back!

   The staff at Rizzo’s were very friendly and personable. They offered their opinions on what foods to try (although all are amazing) and what would pair well together. The food was amazing! The taste, freshness and temperature were all perfect.

   This is a must go if you’re in Crystal Beach and worth the drive if you’re not. The food and service are incredible! I’m Italian and it’s hard to find this level of quality and the sauce is absolutely delicious. I will be a regular now for sure.

   My husband and I have been to Rizzo’s three times and have never been disappointed. The speed and quality of service are outstanding; we have never, ever been wanting for any attention from the staff and they are always so great to chat with. The food is UNTOUCHABLE; the literal, BEST meal you have ever have. I can’t speak enough about the care and attention to detail that is not only created in the meals themselves, but the overall dining experience itself.

   The best food I've had in a long time. They run this place so well, positive staff, clean surfaces no heat lamps. Have tried about half the menu now over 3 visits and nothing has been a let down or even just good it's all been great. Was blown away recently by the meatballs and the parms. Can't forget the tiramisu, it's hard to leave room by end of everything but worth it. During our last visit my fiance and I agreed this is who we want do our wedding food.

   It did not live up to all of the hype. The food was good, the ambiance surprisingly plain, the service good, although no one ever offered fresh grated Parmesan or pepper for any of our dishes. We wouldn’t rush back but would consider going back.

   We had many outstanding dishes but the penne alla vodka was by far the most delicious - it rivals the spicy rigatoni from Carbone. Have been searching online for the recipe. Other must haves are the Matty’s salad and the rapini and chimmichurri.

    There were small things that took away from the experience and don’t match the value of the place. My sparkling wine was really flat and our server happily changed it when I mentioned it. Our mains were ok. Some were really well done and others like the eggplant Parmesan were not very hot. It was room temperature so I didn’t want to send it back after already sending back the wine. I’m sure they would have kindly fixed it but it takes away from the experience if you have to keep mentioning issues. Some foods overall were really good and memorable and some were just ok.
