Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, RnR Gastropub provide the only two-story dining patio overlooking the vibrancy of Scottsdale Road. As an architecturally modernist eatery, RnR’s industrial style is warmed by exposed brick, dark woods and their signature burnt orange accents. Specializing in modern twists on America’s classic comfort foods, RnR boasts boldly innovative chefs, imported Italian coffees and a 1,800 bottle wine cellar with featured wines by the glass or bottle. RnR’s extensive menu overflows with culinary novelty certain to impress. The space itself is fully indoor/outdoor by use of retractable glass garage doors and features a mix of multi-use seating options, including community tables, booths, lounge and traditional seating.

DJ on Saturday was good but way too loud for brunch. Couldn’t have conversation at my table.

Wow, not sure where to start. I was looking for a brunch place when RnR came up. The link to their menu didn’t work so I went to their website to find it. I saw a picture that I showed my wife and her immediate response was “I need that.” Lol, so of course I booked. We get their, seated promptly, friendly server but that was it. I described the picture and was told that was on the old menu and we don’t have that anymore. She was apologetic and friendly about it but strike one. Strike two, the establishment was half empty but food took forever to get out. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The menu stated all plates include home fries. Come to find out mine doesn’t, but no indication of this on the menu. Strike three. Strike four my wife ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was over cooked, and pale. Gross! Her plate did come with the potatoes, but instead of home fries they were tarot tots. My wife said they tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Nothing about this experience pleasant. Avoid at all costs.

The food was fine. Not bad, but not very good. Our waitress was not particularly attentive and seemed annoyed at needing to pour more coffee, etc. The music was quite loud when there were only a couple of tables seated including our group; the waiting staff was reticent about turning the music down when we asked, which ultimately didn't matter because they had a DJ come later which is obviously loud by design, which is fine. Overall, the advertising of this restaurant had us very excited to have brunch here as part of a bachelorette weekend and were underwhelmed.

“Hashbrowns” are tater tots that they smash with a fork. Rude staff. Loud. Cold (in winter) and wide open to the outdoors (which would be nice on a mild day). Slow service. Sub-par food.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. We had 10 people meet there to watch football, and Haley made sure we were well hydrated and fed. She was efficient and fun - everything you want/need in a bartender. The food was great - wings, omelets, burgers - we tried it all.

The drinks were good, but the menu is a bit limited honestly. Our meals were all just OK, but was a fun place to catch up with all the football games on. If you are looking for that vibe, great, but probably would’ve picked somewhere else for dinner.

They add a venue fee and service fee (20% which is the tip) and the service was nonexistent. Since they add the service fee already the servers didn’t pay attention, we had to track them down to ask for items, had to go hand them our bill as they were in the back on their phones. Didn’t know we would be charge a venue fee either.
