   Beautiful restaurant, but note that the Sunday Brunch/Lunch menu turns into only the Lunch menu (about 9 or 10 dishes) at 2 pm. So if you want a variety of options, you should go before 1:45 pm. Food (chicken & waffles, steak & eggs, poké bowl, french toast) was tasty and the pricing was reasonable.

   i’ve come to really loath being set upstairs. I pretty consistently have bad service or in told things will take longer because I was seated upstairs. I brought a party of eight to celebrate and have a nice Easter brunch, but the inconsistent server experience really tuck away from our time together for us.  A lot of our food arrived a bit colder than we would’ve liked. My eggs seemed that if they have been sitting for a while.

   Me and my friend chose Roanoke as our pre-CIBC theater dinner and couldn’t have been happier. We both got items from the hearth section of the menu. She got the ravioli and I got the chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes. For an appetizer we had the cheese curds and loved it all. My only knick is there was a martini listed online that wasn’t on the physical menu and our waitress said they haven’t had it in a long time. So perhaps take a look at the online menus so everything aligns

   Overall a very nice experience. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive. Our table had scallops (a special); a steak salad, and a pasta dish. All were quite good, and portions were more than adequate. Had the pistachio cheesecake for dessert, which was excellent.

   First time here for brunch before the Chicago Fire game. Very nice. Food was really good! Service is what I really count, and they were great! Highly recommend the brunch burger and the Rib Eye Skillet.

   Our first outing to the Roanoke was a delightful meal after the Lyric matinee. We enjoyed all our food and service was attentive and speedy. Highly recommend the biscuits, calm chowder, steak frites, lobster ravioli and the "house" old fashioned... make sure to get it smoked! Thanks for a wonderful first dining experience with your establishment.

    This was my first time visiting Roanoke and I was pleased with the experience. We had tickets for an opera matinee and the manager made sure that we were waited on in a timely fashion in order to have plenty of time to enjoy our meal before the show. Our server was pleasant and attentive, and my meal was cooked exactly to order (eggs over medium and bacon extra crispy). They even noticed that it was my birthday week and offered me a dessert "on the house." The restaurant is located within easy walking distance of the opera house and the theater district, and it is open on weekends, which very few downtown restaurants are, so you definitely want to keep Roanoke in mind when you are downtown on a weekend, whether to see a show or otherwise.
