“I grew up in tiny Racine, Wisconsin eating thin and crispy pizzas at places like Wells Brother’s, Derango’s, Infusino’s, Dino’s, Mike & Angelo’s, Tomaso’s — do you see a trend here? I am super excited to be opening Roca’s Pizza & Pasta right here in my neighborhood. I started out in Italian restaurants 30 years ago, so good pastas have always been on my menu. I’ve been dreaming of creating a nice neighborhood place like Roca’s for a long time. I hope you like it.”

I grew up going to a front room pizza so to be back in a new atmosphere was awesome! The service was spotting, we ordered appetizers but were forgotten otherwise good and drinks would great!

This was a pleasant surprise. The gluten-free pizza crust was excellent. Nice to know it can be done right!

We’ve eaten at Roca’s several times and have always been pleased. Last night was very disappointing - $10 for a trip to the salad bar…. The lettuce was wilted and toppings sub par. Frito Misti was inedible…. And general flavor of our dishes was bland. Step it back up Roca’s - we want you to survive!!

Very disappointing experience with friends Calamari, all 5 pieces of it, was worse than chewing on rubber bands. The breading was white and undercooked The 4 shrimp in the dish also undercooked breading. The large pizza with thin crust, Carmine Londardo, showed up with about 2” of outer diameter burnt to a crisp and not eatable. Maximum of 12 pieces of sausage Sausage sandwich came on a small plate with dinner salad sitting below sandwich. Why would you serve a dressed salad below a sandwich? Also no side dish of marinara to dip sandwich in, as is customary. Asked for a side of marinara and got a small bowl of about 4 tablespoons of sauce. Personally not a fan of boiled sausage links and prefer them browned. Sausage itself was quite bland To many better Italian restaurants in the area to go to Won’t be returning

I have been looking forward to trying this pizza place for a few months. We finally got there on a Friday night for a 6:30 reservation. First impression was it's a super cute pizza place with a fun vibe. Everyone at the door seemed very friendly and happy to be there. We were seated immediately at a table right by the bar kind of in the middle of the restaurant. Overall, not a bad place to sit but the lighting was awful. It felt like we were in an interrogation. The lighting needs to be dimmed quite a bit for better ambience. We ordered house made chips for an appetizer which after taking about 25 minutes to get, tasted good. For some reason we were only given a half order (no explanation why) and we were not charged for them. The cheese sauce served with it, however, was funky, I wouldn't order that again. We ordered a Carmine Lonnardo thin crust pizza for dinner. The sausage was fantastic! The pizza was ok. The very outer crust was crispy; however, the rest had a soggy shortbread consistency. Our server was friendly however not very attentive, so we did not tell her about the pizza. We ended up boxing it up and taking home. I think this place has a lot of potential if they can work out some of these kinks. One perk was their drink specials. I could see this easily becoming your neighborhood pizza place! Everyone was extremely friendly when we were leaving. I later found out that's because the owners were there that night. ;) Hopefully that is the standard!

Great pizza, wonderful pasta, laid back vibes and cool people. Plus, and I know this sounds weird, but their ice is legit.

This was my second visit to Roca's. The first time the food was excellent and service was good. This visit was disappointing compared to the first time. My pasta was served cold (my family's meals were good). The service was off - it seemed like there were many new people working. I will give this place another try because it's hard to find fresh pasta in the suburbs - but I hope they work out the service issues.
