   This was one of the best nights of my life. Kellylee Evans is a gift to the world and we are so blessed she came to Hamilton for RBG’s WinterTide. I really hope they will bring her back for the festival in future years. She is a truly amazing singer and entertainer, and her band Michael, Ian and Calvin provided a level of musicianship that was an honour to be witness to. PS — our server Jimmy was absolutely amazing, we will never forget him!!!!

   Top menu item was the lamb sliders. The "Firecrackers" had far too much cream cheese. I expected more brisket. Nevertheless, the service was impeccable!

   We had gone to celebrate my birthday and was very disappointed in the quality of the food. My daughter and I had the grill cheese and it was inedible. The bread tasted like 4 day old stale bread and the cheese was like rubber. My sister ordered the frittata which was basically an omelette. I will not be back

   Service was very good. We had to eat in the lounge as they didn’t have room in the restaurant which was fine with us because the views outside were beautiful! Food was okay but not really worth the price, some items just lukewarm. We had tickets for an event at The RBG so location was very convenient. It would be such a pretty venue for a wedding! Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Nice place the food just needs to be on par for the price.

   We shared an amazing squash dish with quinoa, cranberries and amazing trio of nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. We also had the beef brisket on a bun with jus which was delicious.

   We split several appetisers and had a few drinks. The jazz band was amazing. Service was friendly and not intrusive. The ambience was lovely with trees lit up outdoors.

   Had a great night at WinterTide at the RBG on thursday night, we booked to see the band but had picked to eat dinner in the dining room. We hadn't realized that they changed things up from last year, when we ate dinner in the dining room and then moved into the great room to listen to the band and have drinks. This year their set up had lots of tables where the band was playing. If we ate dinner in the restaurant we wouldn't be able to move over to listen to the band. They quickly accommodated us in the room with the band but we weren't able to order off the regular menu we were only able to order tapas. The tapas were good but not what we were expecting to eat. The band Noah Abrahamse and the Mumbo Jumbo Combo were very good. The set up they had last year was more of a really cool jazz lounge vibe with lots of couches. This year with the addition of all the extra tables it had a different feel. I get it, this allows them to accommodate way more people. It was a fun night with good friends. If you get a chance definitely take take in Winter Tide.
