   Food was not very good. Service poor: wrong order, slow etc. Hardly anyone else there, still very slow. Ran out of a lot of items, dressings, limes. Great hotel, lousy restaurant.

   We were in town for a fall vacation and made dinner reservations for the lodge restaurant. It was wonderful! The food was great! Our server was attentive and friendly! Beautiful! Will definitely be back in the future when we are in the area.

   We ordered the pork chop agrodolce. The pork chops were overcooked and dry. The side of green beans along with the pork chops were warm but not hot when brought to our table. A glass of wine was $14 and was just okay nothing outstanding for that price. The staff and service was fine, but food was disappointing.

   Derek was a very attentive server. Food came out fast and was tasty. Definitely a good family place.

   We had an amazing dinner last night! Pretzels and salad for appetizers, shrimp and grits, hickory smoked pulled pork meal and a kids cheeseburger and fries meal. Everything was absolutely delicious! My husband said that those were the best baked beans he had ever eaten! My grits were creamy and cheesy!!! For dessert we ordered 3 carrot cakes for our cabin snack! Mel was our waitress and she was engaging and always friendly! It was expensive, but for the quality of food, and the view… it was well worth the extra money!!

   Cedar Falls Inn and spa has better food and service. Will stick with that.

    Makayla was a great sever and always check on us.. I am disappointed about the they out of cheese crubs that they out of and they offer me something else I told them no thank
