Roka is led by local chef: Raquel Iglesias, known for her passion for curating gastronomic experiences with an international accent, passion for her roots & warm service.

Our team has developed a menu that represents bold flavors, fearless openness of mind and a strong desire to ignite and exceed an extraordinary culinary experience inside a sanctuary where the jungle meets the sea in the coast of Playa Miravalle, El Salvador.

At our table, we celebrate products from local markets and small producers, we carefully select our ingredients to be both health-giving and earth conscious. With an international flair, we merge international plates with Salvadoran products.

We enjoyed great food on the second floor, so we had a view of the ocean, the ocean breeze was constantly passing through. The staff was attentive. We had all of the ceviches which were amazing, new flavors that were like a party in the mouth! The coffee creme brulee was a joy to finish off for dessert. We also had all of the author cocktails, and super recommend them. We want to go back and stay at the hotel so that we can eat here all day and enjoy the beautiful beach. We will definitely return!!

We ate at Roka in Miravalle in December 2024. If you're searching for a place that combines breathtaking views, impeccable ambiance, incredible food, and top-notch service, look no further. Nestled by the sea, this place offers an unforgettable dining experience. The sea beach view is nothing short of spectacular, providing a serene and picturesque background for your breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food was absolutely incredible. We started with a delightful fish broth that was rich, flavorful, and the perfect appetizer. For our mains, the octopus stole the show—cooked to perfection, paired with a rich sauce. The chicken kebab was also impressive. As a side dish we've ordered some sweet potato that was really crunchy and tasty. To accompany our meal, we enjoyed fresh fruit drinks that were refreshing and perfectly balanced, adding a vibrant touch to the experience. To top it all off, the coffee was simply amazing. Rich, aromatic, and expertly brewed, it was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. This restaurant is more than just a place to eat—it's a destination for relaxation and indulgence. Highly recommended for anyone looking an amazing dining experience.
