ABOUT US
The Romantic Restaurant is located in the historic cellars
of the Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature in Warsaw.
An intimate, warm and history-filled interior combined with a simple,
modern design creates a unique atmosphere.
From Spring to late Autumn, we cordially invite our guests to
dine in our garden in the Old Town Square with
a view of the Mermaid – the symbol of Warsaw.

The Romantic Restaurant arose from a genuine
need to introduce people to cuisine based on Polish
seasonal products of the highest quality.
We wish to host our guests with excellent Polish cuisine as
well as wines from the most interesting vineyards in the world
—all this accompanied by professional service.
In the Romantic kitchen we pride ourselves on using chiefly Polish products.
Tending to the freshness and seasonality of our dishes,
we change our menu several times a year.

The staff was rude and forgot to put in my order. The rest of my party was finished eating their entire meal before mine even came out. And when it came out they omitted one of my side dishes

Good food and service in a lovely setting- set in the Old Town Sq the outdoor dining is great people watching/ inside its basement level with a cozy wine cellar feel-we had pierogis, beet soup, steak and pasta- all delicious -reasonably priced for a more touristy area. Great wine list and friendly service! Note- best to walk in- car service will drop you rather far with an uphill climb.

I didn't want to give the worst rating,because we never got to eat there! The address on their website and on Open Table did not physically exist. We looked for 20 minutes. Tried to call but the phone number was wrong too.

Great place in the basement of a historic home right at the Old Town Square. The food was delicious, the service was good although a little slow (but that's more of a Polish thing than particular to this establishment). Great ambience and music. I didn't think the place was romantic, as the name would suggest, but it definitely has a character and some charm. Again...the food was superb!!

Nothing romantic about this place. Sounded like a nice restaurant per the ad. Server was in shorts and tshirt and basically clueless. Sat us basically in an empty basement. Terrible dining experience. Dont go here. Its not really a restaurant, more like someones hobby.
