Ronin features elgant farm cuisine with a constantly evolving menu. Set in the beautiful, newly-renovated historic Ice House on Main in downtown Bryan, our restaurant shares an open-air kitchen with our dining room, floor to ceiling exposed brick, and hand-built, suspension tables made from wood salvaged during renovation.

Our menu is updated daily, based on what we have harvested from our garden during that given week. Our farm is located just seven miles from our restaurant. The climate and changing seasons play a major role in what we serve. It is our intention to always provide a variety of menu options and to accommodate any dietary needs.

    Greatly enjoyed this restoration restaurant ambiance, decor with great service, variety menu and delicious food . Had the fish with vegetables and fine Caesar salad as culinary excellence. Just overall over the top dining. Will go back every visit to the area.

    Overall a disappointing experience. The service was sluggish (we had to request basic service - like waters refilled). The food was bland and overpriced for what we got. I feel like the experience could have been replicated just about anywhere.

    Ronin is our go to in BCS. We took an out of town guest and everything was delicious. We had- shrimp pasta, the chicken, and burgers. The Caesar salad was amazing.

    Great and attentive service. Was nice to go to a restaurant and actually have a hot meal. I appreciate the rustic vibe of the restaurant. Owner is great.

    The meal was good and was seated in the back of restaurant. Waitstaff was attentive but seemed distracted.

    This was a disappointing experience. The service was excellent, but the food was disappointing and not up to their usual excellent standards. I had a bland lobster pasta on a bed of gooey pasta. My companions had chicken-fried steaks, and they were happy. The service was great and I would come back just for the service.

    Ronin is a very nice restaurant hosted in a building with quite a long history, so the atmosphere is unique and interesting. The service was outstanding; we never had to try to find waitstaff, as they were always checking on us. We thought the vegetable dishes were wonderful, from the onion rings and green tomatoes we had for an appetizer, to the grilled vegetables included with our entrees. The proteins, however, were just okay. They just seemed to be lacking something in flavor - we had the pork carnitas and the wagyu chicken fried steak. Overall, though, our visit was a very nice experience.

    Food was absolutely amazing! We got the Wagyu chicken fried steak and the Red wine braised Chicken. The mashed potatoes and gravy were so creamy, vegetables cooked just right and everything was so Fresh. Could not stop eating the blistered Shishito peppers, the spicy mayo served with it paired better than i couldve ever thought. Service was wondering and very helpful!

    My son and I had the cheese toast which was incredible. Then he had the Shrimp pasta dish and I had the vegetarian option of sweet potato smothered in vegees~ both were delicious! Our server was perfectly attentive and polite and anticipated our every need. The cocktails were very tasty as well. All in all, a great experience at Ronin! We will be back.
