Ronin features elgant farm cuisine with a constantly evolving menu. Set in the beautiful, newly-renovated historic Ice House on Main in downtown Bryan, our restaurant shares an open-air kitchen with our dining room, floor to ceiling exposed brick, and hand-built, suspension tables made from wood salvaged during renovation.

Our menu is updated daily, based on what we have harvested from our garden during that given week. Our farm is located just seven miles from our restaurant. The climate and changing seasons play a major role in what we serve. It is our intention to always provide a variety of menu options and to accommodate any dietary needs.

    The presentation of the food needed some work. The food was highly oily; the mashed potatoes tasted like they had been cooked two weeks ago, and the salad was so oily we could not eat it. The only thing that was good was the Chicken Fried Steak, but the hamburger was dried, and my husband could not eat it. The drinks were delicious, and also, the service was lovely.

    This place has a great atmosphere. The food is lacking and over priced. The service was horrible. The restaurant was not busy but the bartender was assigned our table. She got the order wrong and we never had our waters refilled or asked if we wanted more drinks. Also, never came around to check if our meals were correct or good. The price of the restaurant I expect better service. Also, we requested a Gluten free entree and what they brought from the kitchen had gluten in it. It was just a horrible experience. I would not go back.

    I love the farm to table aspect! The food tasted so fresh and you could tell it was made with good, natural ingredients. My friends and I loved the intimate, dim lighting and dark ambience. Would come back again!

    I saw that the Ronin instagram posted about bunch today and I decided to pop in and it was incredible! I got a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and a latte to drink but the star of the show was the Beignets which came with a delicious coffee caramel sauce. Everyone should be on the lookout for when Ronin is open for brunch!!

    We were in town for a football game and were looking forward to our dinner at Ronin. We had a 745 reservation and arrived on time and we’re told it would be a few minutes. Tried to get a drink at the bar while we waited and that took a very long time even though there were not that many people at the bar waiting for a drink. At 8:15 we were told our table outside was ready, even though we did not book an outside table, and it was very cold. The tables outside were available the whole time so I’m not sure why it took them 30 minutes to try to put us out there. We told them we would not sit outside and we finally got seated at a inside table at 8:45. I was told the owner/manager would come talk to us, but she did not do so until I went up to her. They gave us two appetizers as an apology, but other than that did not seem to care at all. We didn’t want free food. We just wanted our table. The food was good.

    I recently visited Ronin to celebrate my anniversary, and I can confidently say it deserves every one of the five stars I’m giving it. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the perfect tone for our special evening. The service was amazing —attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced. Our server made excellent recommendations and ensured everything was flawless throughout the night. The food was wonderful. We started with an excellent chicken and risotto dish that was very tender and a juicy steak that was 16 ounces of medium rare perfection. We told our server we would be sharing, so she had the kitchen split our entrees for us. For dessert, we had brownies and crème brûlée which were both great. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted as amazing as it looked. The food was seasoned perfectly to accentuate the natural farm fresh flavors. To top it off, we shared a wonderful bottle of sparkling wine. The large selection of high quality wines added an extra layer of refinement to the experience. Ronin truly made our anniversary unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion—or just to treat yourself to an exceptional meal—this is the place!

    Greatly enjoyed this restoration restaurant ambiance, decor with great service, variety menu and delicious food . Had the fish with vegetables and fine Caesar salad as culinary excellence. Just overall over the top dining. Will go back every visit to the area.

    Overall a disappointing experience. The service was sluggish (we had to request basic service - like waters refilled). The food was bland and overpriced for what we got. I feel like the experience could have been replicated just about anywhere.

    Ronin is our go to in BCS. We took an out of town guest and everything was delicious. We had- shrimp pasta, the chicken, and burgers. The Caesar salad was amazing.
