    I love the venue but sadly I thought the menu for a Saturday night was poor, ie, not enough choice. The starter was lovely (sharing platter) for 4 of us but my main (prawns) were burnt and one of the other mains wasn’t hot enough plus you had to extra for vegetables and salad. So after my main, I was still hungry! The service and ambiance was great tho and the waiter knocked the prawns and another main off the bill which I thought was only fair. Sadly, I will not be returning for a while yet….

    We went for a late lunch, which was the tail end of a busy service , the meat was tough and the vegetables were minimal to say the least, this was mentioned to the staff at the point of delivery and again when they cleared the table ,they reacted positively and apologised for the disappointing food, and adjusted the bill accordingly which did save the day, otherwise it may have been our last visit to the Rooftop but on the back of their approach we may give it one more try!

    We love dining at the Rooftop and we had a great night BUT the new menu leaves a lot to be desired. It was only 8 o’clock but one of the dishes (duck, chorizo & rice) that 3 of us wanted was not available and our alternative choice (pork & clams with pickled veg) was awful! In contrast, the cauliflower steak was very well received! We will return in the summer but the pork & clams dish really should be ditched.

    Fabulous evening spent at the Rooftop for our son’s 21st birthday. Food was delicious, service excellent and we loved to cocktails outside afterward

    The menu has changed significantly with predominantly greek influence. Food was nice but overpriced and small portions for mains & desserts. Preferred previous menu . Very noisy with lots of hen & stag parties. Dirty seating on arrival. Not sure I will visit again sadly.

    This was the 5th and last time i will be visiting, the previous 4 times were amazing, what has prompted this change? Mine and my dads steak arrived luke warm already cut on a bed of raw onions and rocket without the option of ordering a sauce.! My wife's fish was luke warm, my mums dish was hotter than ours but not by much and please explain why there's no chicken dish on the menu, this is always a safe option for anyone. Music was much louder and struggled to have a normal conversation within our group, so much so the waiter totally ignored my dads request the first time due to the music. Service charge being added to the bill has removed the connection between staff and customers and the service we got was nowhere near what tip i would have given compared to the service charge. I'm not posh but when I'm paying these prices for a meal i don't expect to have chav tastic people doing what they do, annoy other customers who are out for a nice time. This was once a fantastic place to go for a meal, but i'll be going somewhere else from now on
