North Carolina chef and restaurateur, Jim Noble founded Rooster’s: A Noble Grille with the intention of being relevant without being trendy and to impress without being pretentious. That commitment has carried us through two decades and continues to lead us on today.

Knowing that simple food is harder to execute given there is nowhere to hide the flaws, we go to great lengths to source quality ingredients from local farmers and purveyors. We then take all the time necessary to develop their flavors —using both European and modern techniques—always working from scratch.

Our menu features tried and true staples like our spit­-roasted chicken cooked over open fire as well as progressive daily​ specials and elevated Small Plates featuring Executive Chef Brad Pennell. At Rooster’s, you’ll always find something new served with an honest commitment and consistently warm care.

    The food here is consistently excellent - every single time. They are known for their fried oysters and are the best we've ever had. We typically go if there is a special occasion in the family or friend group. They do offer a free dessert for birthdays which is a really nice touch! We had the creme brule but I've been told the bread pudding is to die for! They have an outdoor patio which is great in the warmer months. The inside ambience is really nice - especially at night. Servers are clearly highly trained and so very attentive!! I honestly have never had a bad service or food experience here ever. You will not be disappointed - run to Roosters!

    Rooster’s never disappoints. This restaurant is my go-to when I’ve given a choice where to take clients or friends.

    Disappointed with our experience this visit. We have always chosen this restaurant to celebrate our special occasions. We do not dine out frequently, so when we do choose to do so we expect our experience to be note-worthy. We requested our waiter to be a specific person and it wasn't even mentioned as to why we weren't granted this waiter (he has been attached to our reservations). It was our 34th anniversary celebration, which was noted on the reservation, and nothing was ever mentioned about our celebration, no celebratory dessert. The waitress was overloaded with the number of tables she was responsible for and therefore was not attentive to us at all. We frequently had to locate her and ask for items for our table. I do not wish to leave a completely negative review, as our food and drinks were delicious.

    Excellent Food Server was great and very attentive and pleasant Negative: Hostess told us we had to leave by a certain time and they needed our table back by 7:45 upon our arrival which was not very tasteful

    I got the $70 filet and it wasn’t a bad cut of steak or anything but it was slightly overcooked than medium and it didn’t have any flavor I had to ask for salt and I feel like for the price I shouldn’t have to do that not to mention the salt barley came out so I looked stupid sitting there shaking it over my food for like 5 minutes. The veggies I ordered had lots of flavor so idk if my plate of filet and mash potato’s got skipped or what

    This restaurant is good, but over priced. The server poured two different wines into one glass when my friend asked for a second glsss of Cabernet. The fact that everything is a la cartel, just means they can charge more.
