Root & Branch Bistro + Bar offers a casual yet upscale dining experience that has become a local favorite in Clermont and beyond. With multiple awards, including two "Taste of South Lake" wins for our Fried Green Tomatoes and Fashion Nut, and four "Best of South Lake for Dinner" titles in the past six years, we’re committed to delivering excellence.

Led by Executive Chef & GM David Henry, our menu features mouthwatering Small Plates, Entrees, and Specials designed to surprise and delight. Chef Henry also creates personalized Chef's Table experiences upon request. Bar Manager Matthew Danchik crafts innovative cocktails that perfectly complement our dishes.

Everything was amazing. Starting with the impeccable service to the delicious food. We truly enjoyed our visit and would recommend Root & Branch.

This turned out to be a great place to meet up with friends that were in Orlando for a conference. The food was delicious, both appetizers and lunch food, good choices for cocktails and wine and the service was perfect for our group. This was my first visit there and definitely looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu.

Enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends, our waiter allowed us to take our time and talk, food was excellent. We will return.

I would not recommend eating here. The service was slow. The food was average. Someone had the Drunknen sailor as a main meal - 3 small scallops floating in a cream sauce with no side or salad - robbery at $26! One guest had her meal burnt and had to be redone. The server/ chef left the second attempt on the counter delaying the dish being presented further. This resulted in her eating alone when everyone else had finished. It spoilt the birthday evening completely. When we complained the manager was rude arrogant and needs lessons in customer care. He offered us a measly $3 discount and stormed off saying that’s all you are getting. Avoid this place until they have a manager who cares for the customer!

Our favorite date night restaurant! We brought friends from out of town for a late dinner and we were beyond thrilled. We never felt rushed to leave and enjoyed how knowledgeable our server was on all the menu items. The fried green tomatoes are always amazing and the pork chop was literal perfection!

We went on Valentine’s Day. They had a special menu with only 4 meals. We went at 7pm and at that time they already ran out of two of the 4 entrees they had. My daughter asked for grilled cheese and they told us a while after ordering that they weren’t able to make that since they also ran out of that. I don’t think they prepared for one of the biggest ‘going out to dinner’ nights. We have always loved Root and Branch and now don’t care to ever go back. My husband said his $55 steak dinner was the worst steak he’s ever had. My dinner said one thing on the menu then I got totally different sides than it said on the menu. The waitress said they didn’t even carry what was on the menu so she said that was weird it said that. Overall not a good experience or dinner that we paid almost $200 for.
