   We are returning customers as this is a firm favourite. The food is exceptional and always worth the 1 hour return journey. Our first ever visit was influenced by glowing reviews and we have never been disappointed. A real “wow” each time whatever we choose

   Food was exceptional especially the starters - we tried all the chaats. They were very accommodating to our young children. The waiter was attentive, friendly and the service exceptional. First time at this restaurant but so glad we are local. Hope to return soon.

   I came across this restaurant by accident… my husband thought I should have a break from cooking Christmas dinner having done it for 48 years.. Family of six and a dog looking for a nice restaurant other than traditional Christmas fare.. And boy did we find this amazing place. I would say in my humble opinion that this is probably the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The menu is small but the flavour is spectacular it’s not about throwing a handful of chillies and calling it a curry it’s about paring the right spices and herbs and making delicious dishes.. Roots definitely know how to do that.. each dish was so different, so fragrant and very tasty too. The tables are dressed beautifully, every detail is carefully chosen to make this amazing restaurant. And a real bonus to be able to take your dog there too..I will definitely recommend this place.. and I will definitely be going back.
