   ROSALIE WAS A WONDERFULLY PLEASANT SURPRISE. WE HAD A GIFT CERTIFICATE THAT WE DECIDED TO USE AND IN A FAIRLY RANDOM WAY .WE CHOSE TO HAVE LUNCH AT ROSALIE ON A BEAUTIFUL SPRING DAY. THE FOOD WAS INCOMPARABLE. THE SERVICE WAS COMFORTABLE, FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS RELAXED . IN SHORT WE ARELOOKING GORWARD TO OUR NEXT FORAY INTO ROSALIE’S.

   Another excellent meal at Rosalie. The salmon was superb, and the chicken parmigiana was terrific. An absolute neighborhood gem.

   A Tuesday night at 6:30...never expected every table taken so noise level was extreme. No mixed drinks, only wine. Settled for iced coffee. The lamb shank was huge and delicious (dinner tomorrow night). Shared chocolate cake (YUM) and still took some home along with the other half of my dinner....large portions.

   I booked a table for six for an early Sunday dinner. This was also a special occasion. A amall retirement party which included the president of the company and his wife. I will add that we have dined at Rosalie before and has a good experience. From the beginning the server had the specials wrong and honestly seemed new at the job. We ordered appetizers and they were fine. We then ordered dinner, the wait was fairly normal except for one meal, the company president, our server had not checked back on us until we were half way through the meal. At this point I insisted she resolve the situation right away. Within a minute she was back with the dish. By this time, as the host, I was embarrassed and it looked like I had made a poor choice in restaurants. I’m not sure if we will be going back to Rosalie which is a shame because the restaurant is beautiful and the food is very good. This special occasion dinner was a huge drop.
