The menu, both food and bar offer plenty of choice. The food was cooked to perfection. Service was exceptional. It is pricey and noisy on a Saturday so notthe place for a romantic tete-a-tete.

Everything was absolutely delicious! Scallops were cooked to perfection and filet mignon just melted in your mouth. Service was delightful as well. Thank you!

Although on the high end with prices this will be our go to steak place.

I wish I remembered our servers name but that was the best experience we’ve had in a while. I was about to ask my girlfriend out and she helped by going above and beyond. The food was also great for the price we paid. The drinks were wonderful

The service and the food is always fabulous! From the manager to the owner to the staff they are all very attentive and amazing customer service. My number one restaurant in Ottawa. Thank you Rose Bowl for delicious food.

Our server immediately brought us water, and we asked for 2 minutes (specifically) for them to return to take our wine order. They returned almost 15 minutes later, during which we saw our server conversing with other staff at the bar. Normally we would not have a big problem with that. At the end of our meal, however, with a virtually-full glass of wine yet to drink, our server informed us that they have a "time limit" and we would have to vacate our table, and told "you have 5 minutes". I had the mind to tell them that they could add the 15 minutes (minus the initial "2 minutes") to that 5 minutes, and if they had a problem with that, they could send the manager, but we didn't want to have our night ruined to an even greater degree. On another note, we have been dining at Rosebowl for years now, celebrating birthdays and anniversaries here. The occasion this time was my wife's birthday. On every other visit, we were treated with a complimentary small piece of cake with a candle in it, and 2 forks, as a congratulations. This year nothing. And yes, the server was aware that it was my wife's birthday. We don't remember having seen any of the servers before, on our previous visits; so, I'm assuming they are relatively new and I don't want to throw blame at any one person. I do, however, think management could do a much better job with training, among other "rules" they have imposed on customers. As I stated earlier, we have been dining at the Rosebowl for years, but this time was not the same, for the reasons outlined above, but also the feeling that something was "off" as far as atmosphere, etc., is concerned.

Wonderful meal. Pleasant and attentive service. Would have liked to see some draft beer offerings. Will definitely dine there again.
