   For the price, this place is not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend a steak from this place. Friendly staff, but you can get much better food for half the price at many other places.

   We appreciate an authentic Italian ambience and fantastic service. Rosebud consistently wins with great food and drinks! We have enjoyed rosebud in both large group settings and intimate meals for 2. The patio, downstairs and upstairs dining rooms each offer different dining experience which the staff has tailored well based on our group sizes. Highly recommend for a date and night out with close friends.

   Excellent Italian restaurant. Quality service and outstanding food. If I had one complaint it was the bread. They used to serve it warm and I believe baked on the premises, it was cool and seemed like it was from a bread service. But the rest of the food and service was top notch.

   We always enjoy dining at Rosebud on Rush when visiting Chicago. Excellent food and service. Location is just off Michigan Avenue and an easy walk in the Loop. The Gnocchi Alla Vodka is outstanding but wish portion size was a little more. My wife got the Eggplant Stack and we both enjoyed that.

   No roses on Valentine’s Day??? Missed opportunity. Also almost too dark lol 30 years old and could barely see across the table .

   Was asked if I was celebrating anything when I made the reservation to which I said yes, my birthday and they confirmed when I checked in. However, they did nothing special or even make me feel special…not even a hey happy birthday! The food was eh, my husband was not a fan of the gnocchi a la vodka and left almost the entire plate so the waitress had the manager take It off the bill. When the manager came by to let us know that he had taken It off the bill he didn’t even pronounce gnocchi correctly 🤦🏻‍♀️. I was expecting a lot more from this place and for the prices of the dishes one would think that or at the very least that the managers and/or staff know how to pronounce a simple Italian pasta dish. Our table of 8 had a variety of dishes and based off this I wouldn’t recommend, I’d save my money & go to Olive Garden where you may get lucky and get better Italian.

   Not impressed. We were sat in a corner below street level where everyone seated outside could look down over us. Took our server forever to come over and get our drink order then rushed us to order our food so he could take the menus. The food was ok, rather to go a real steakhouse or Carmines for pastas next time. It was over $200 for tow of us not including alcoholic drinks.

    Miss the original Rosebud on Taylor (evidently private events only there now - ridiculous) but the one on Rush is a good replacement. The food was outstanding, and our waiter Fredrico was superb. He always appeared at the table at the right time. That is a skill not everyone has in the restaurant business. He was not the only good service - our hostess, I am sad I didn't get her name, was wonderfully accommodating. Allison at the downstairs bar may make one of the best Negroni's in Chicago! I had my usual veal Milanese - it was perfect! The breading was crisp and stayed on the meat. The rigatoni that came with it was good. The sauce is close to my family recipe, so it always tastes like home. I would say the only downside to the whole meal was the bread. I like a nice crispy Italian bread - only so-so rolls in our basket. Overall tremendous experience and always look forward to going back for more.
