   We were seated 15 minutes after our reservation time, which is not a problem (it was very busy), however the lack of hospitality will keep us from returning. One hostess tried to seat us outside and at a high top with a “view” of the kitchen. We had purposefully made the reservation for the main dining room. The other hostess offered us a complimentary cocktail while we waited, to which I replied we wanted drinks when we sitting at our table- not sitting by the entrance without a spot to place our drinks and with the hustle of people coming in and out the door. She seemed shocked and said “did you want to wait at Montrose cheese and wine next door?”. When we were seated, the offer for a complimentary drink was not offered. Our server was kind and friendly, just potentially inexperienced or taking orders from someone else. She brought over the bean salad because of the long wait. We sent it back as we did not want this dish and were not asked if we wanted it. She also seemed shocked by this. We ordered a cocktail, the crudo, and two pizzas. Nothing was taken off the bill. Our server asked if we wanted a complimentary cookie for the wait. Why not remove something off our bill, or even ask if there was something we wanted, such as an appetizer or a dessert? We enjoyed the food, but as there are so many restaurants in Houston with incredible hospitality, we are unlikely to bother returning to Rosie Cannonball.

   Very good experience. This was probably the best service I received in all of Houston and this is not an overstatement.

   I love a local spot that has a beautiful atmosphere and great food!! the pizzas are amazing, as well as the farmers green salad. always a joy to come.

   Start to finish everything was incredible. We had the classics and also branched out to new items. The beet dish was the hit of the night! The spaghetti al limone was perfection.
