Fresh and exciting new bar and restaurant in Ocean Gate, NJ, right in the heart of Ocean County with water views of the beach, boardwalk and Toms River. We are bringing an elevated dining experience with a beautifully decorated coastal themed space, a great menu composed of the finest ingredients and hand crafted cocktails, a great wine list and expansive beer selection. Ask about the selection of dining areas including main dining room, private party room, semi private second floor dining room, outdoor second floor deck seating and the fun and hip bar/lounge area.     Menu was not updated. Expected to order the tomohaw steak for two but is was not available. Then I decided on the porterhouse steak only to find out it was not available as well. Only on the weekends which the menu did not state. Over all I was disappointed in my 55th birthday. But they did sing happy birthday and provide ice cream and cake on the house. I will return on the weekend and try the porterhouse special.

    Our 2nd time there and it again took over an hour to get our food. The short ribs had great flavor but were very fatty and served less than warm.

    Our dinner was delicious. We shared an appetizer of Whipped Honey Ricotta that had olives, fig jam,bread,a bulb of roasted garlic, cherry tomatoes and 2 slices of Prosciutto. Dinner was chicken Milanese with Burratta. Our server was so accommodating, she did not rush us to order. Thank you! Will return for another dinner.

    We are new to the area and chose Rosie’s Restaurant to celebrate our son’s 26th birthday with our family. We were all so pleased with the warm ambiance, the absolutely impressive culinary entrees that were truly amazing and our server was friendly and patient with such a large party. We will all definately be back.
