   The service of this restaurant was amazing. I was part of a large party and we were offered our choice of a table that they prepared for us or their private room. We opted for the private room and appreciated how accommodating they were. The cocktails we ordered were all delicious and very well made. I’m extremely picky about my gimlets and was pleasantly surprised at how well executed it was. They offer an amazing deal on bottles of wine ordered after 5pm. I highly recommend the moussaka, it was delicious. The cheeseburgers looked amazing. I would probably skip the burnt end empanadas and the bread pudding if I returned. The sweetest treat came after dessert. It was hands down the most well priced meal I have had in years. In summary, I highly recommend this if you’re looking for an approachable restaurant with great cocktails and good food at an affordable price. If I lived in the area, I would be a regular.

   Outstanding dining experience. The staff are professional and friendly. Our server, Sharon, was competent, caring, and had a very nice demeanor. She struck the right balance of checking on us while not coming across as a nag. The food is delicious. Great value for the price and the portion sizes are perfect - not too much but not too skimpy. I was impressed with the Manager. He took the time to check in and ask about the meal and overall satisfaction with the dining experience. You won’t go wrong with your dining experience at the Royal.

   The Royal is an updated Alexandria institution. The renovated restaurant and revised menu are both well done. My favorites are the green chili breakfast enchiladas and the meatloaf melt, but everything I have had there is good. The service is friendly and the never let you ice tea get empty. It one of my regular haunts.

   First time eating dinner here. Both my friend and I enjoyed our meal of stroganoff and smash burger. Fries were crisp and hot. Server attentive. We were there supporting ATC fundraiser but will continue coming back for breakfast which boast BEST omlettes ever and now dinner for good home cooked food.

   Everything is 10 out of 10 . For sure this is my New Favorite Breakfast spot . And the Staff was 100% Amazing

    Great spot for breakfast. Food was good overall but potatoes were very salty.
