Welcome to Roy's Ka'anapali! Since opening "the original" Roy's Hawaii Kai in 1988, I have set out to explore "new directions," blending classic European cooking techniques with unique influences of Asia and the Pacific.     Great service. Great food. Out of salmon early in the evening (large lunch). Still miss the chocolate soufflé!

    Our server Michael was great! Kept checking on us for whatever we need. We’re repeat customers and food and service is always good. Looking forward to another wonderful dinner before going home.

    Our reservation was at 5 at 508 I got a message if we were on our way select 1. I saw it at 513 responded and said we were on our way. ( traffic can be bad at this time) but the response was great we’ll see you soon we showed up at 520 apologized for being late and we’re told “ sorry sweet heart unfortunately we canceled your reservation “ Mind you the restaurant was empty maybe 3 tables had people I was actually nervous when we walked in thinking we had made a bad decision to try it again. several locals have issues with this restaurant but we thought we’d try it again. Nope. Never again. We use to go to Roy’s all the time and over the last 5 years it’s never been the same.

    The building felt like it was vibrating the entire time and our food took forever. They graciously gave us desserts which were very tasty. Just doesn’t seem like the Roy’s we once knew and loved.

    The service was outstanding…we were greeted warmly upon arrival and seated promptly. Our waiter was attentive and friendly throughout our dining. The ambience was uninspired and the food was adequate. I was expecting more. I had the butterfish and my husband had the mahi-mahi. They were “ good”, not great.
