Rudy's Steakhouse is the premier steakhouse of Salem. They take great pride in their gold medal winning steaks, aging their beef in house and hand cutting their steaks daily. Their soups are made from scratch and are known to be some of the best in town. All of their gourmet sauces and salad dressings are also made from scratch, using only the finest ingredients.

Trying one of their award winning fresh Marionberry infused cocktails is a must! Their Marionberry Lemon Drop might be the most famous cocktail in Salem. Furthermore, their Marionberry Cobbler and Blueberry Bread Pudding are some of the most incredible desserts you will ever try!

All of the food ordered by our group was good. No one was disappointed. It's a little pricey, but you do get cloth tablecloths!

McKenzie was an amazingly good server! We hope to enjoy her service again and again! The turkey dinner was very tasty. If there was one negative, the turkey was a bit too salty, but that's a matter of preference. Otherwise, it all tasted wonderful and as two seniors with no local family, it suited our longing for a good Thanksgiving dinner, without the need to cook such a large undertaking for just the two of us! Note: We were still standing awaiting our table outside 35 minutes after our reservation. We would have waited longer if I hadn't noticed a table in the bar that was available, which they gladly accommodated us with. The staff is always excellent at Rudy's Steakhouse and the food predictably very good!

The Thanksgiving meal was fabulous. The servers/wait staff were all very friendly and quick. The restaurant was busy but we didn't have a long wait. We will be back!

In a word: Fabulous!!! There were four of us, we all had the Filet Mignon—each requesting a different degree of “doneness,” and all were perfectly cooked to each of our tastes. Sides, appetizers, wine, Spanish Coffee, hot Marionberry Cobbler for dessert—all delicious! What truly tied it all up in a Thanksgiving bow was Ellie, our delightful server! Our third year in a row having Thanksgiving dinner at Rudy’s and it is a wonderful new tradition!

The New York steak was delicious, all the sides were as well, but I was disappointed in the price. I’ve experienced better in Ruth Chris’s and at RingSide in Portland. It was for a birthday and there was no mention of “happy birthday” or anything from the waitress. I thought maybe even a small something with a candle at least. The wait was longer than I’d expect for having reservations. Beyond all this, I enjoyed my meal. Thank you

We celebrated my granddaughters 18th birthday recently. She had never been to an upscale restaurant before. She chose Rudy's as her birthday restaurant. She was so impressed with the atmosphere, the food flavors and its presentation, and the wait staff. The only goal I told her to consider in her choice. "Find a special restaurant that that years from now. She could say that is where I celebrated my 18th birthday". She had the rib-eye steak, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. She ordered the appetizers of cheesy bread and shrimp cocktail for us. She enjoyed browsing the total menu to make her choices. Her drink was a raspberry lemonade. She was thrilled to receive a Marion berry crumble with ice cream on top as a birthday treat from Rudy's. It was so much fun to watch her expressions as she tasted each of her items. The quality of her food was so impressive. Know going in to expect to pay for the quality of the menu items and the ambiance. It was all so worth the total experience and my grand daughter's happiness and memories. Years from now, she will be able to share Rudy's was a great selection for her 18th birthday meal.
