   We celebrated my granddaughters 18th birthday recently. She had never been to an upscale restaurant before. She chose Rudy's as her birthday restaurant. She was so impressed with the atmosphere, the food flavors and its presentation, and the wait staff. The only goal I told her to consider in her choice. "Find a special restaurant that that years from now. She could say that is where I celebrated my 18th birthday". She had the rib-eye steak, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. She ordered the appetizers of cheesy bread and shrimp cocktail for us. She enjoyed browsing the total menu to make her choices. Her drink was a raspberry lemonade. She was thrilled to receive a Marion berry crumble with ice cream on top as a birthday treat from Rudy's. It was so much fun to watch her expressions as she tasted each of her items. The quality of her food was so impressive. Know going in to expect to pay for the quality of the menu items and the ambiance. It was all so worth the total experience and my grand daughter's happiness and memories. Years from now, she will be able to share Rudy's was a great selection for her 18th birthday meal.

   For the prices and what is offered on the menu, you would be lead to think that this place is special. Unfortunately, the server did nothing to make it special. When I made the reservation I indicated it was a birthday and this special occasion was not recognized at all, even after we announced it before ordering dessert. To put the icing on the cake (so to speak)…every item that was delivered to the table was auctioned off by the food runner. It reduced the ambiance to what it would be like at burger joint.

   Awesome experience! Got seated right on time. Service exceptional. Caesar salad had right amount of dressing. One of better ones I have tasted. Tomahawk Steak cooked to perfection (Medium Rare). Cocktails and wine paired perfectly. Waitress brought my wife (birthday) a warm Blackberry Cobbler ala mode:-)

   Fabulous!!!!!! All around 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Service, atmosphere, food & wine was excellent!!! The only thing that was not great was the food temperature. My sirloin steak was warm, not hot. All else was perfect! 😘

   I was really looking forward to dining at Rudy's Steakhouse as we chose it to celebrate a very special occasion—my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. Sadly, the experience fell far short of expectations and left us all disappointed. From the start, the hostess was rude and unwelcoming, which was particularly disheartening on such a meaningful evening. The outdoor door kept letting in a chill, making the dining area uncomfortable. To add to the frustration, we had to clear our own salad plates just to make room for the main dishes—something you’d never expect at a restaurant of this caliber. The prices were another sore point. While we understand that quality dining can be expensive, charging $6 for a cup of coffee feels excessive, especially when the service didn’t match the price tag. It’s unfortunate that such an important celebration was marred by poor service and a lackluster experience. We expected more from Rudy's Steakhouse and sadly, I can’t recommend it for anyone planning a special occasion.

   My family and I attended the restaurant on Veterans Day and we were treated well, the service was prompt, the quality of the food was superb, and we felt the seating arrangements were comfortable. The presentation and quality of the food was top-notch. Clearly talented staff in the kitchen, it definitely showed. We ordered appetizers, entrees, and dessert and each dish was a textbook example of preparation. The atmosphere was pleasant and the noise level was great for the amount of guests. The prices are steep but the quality makes it reasonable and a spot one should go to celebrate an occasion. For what it's also worth, the restaurant took 50% off my dish as a courtesy of Veterans Day, for that reason along with the quality of the food, I'll be coming back next year. 5/5

    Rudy's offered a 50% discount for Veterans on Veterans Day and we eagerly accepted. As usual the food was delicious and well prepared and the service was perfect. Thank you Rudy's
