May, 2024 We enjoyed a lovely anniversary dinner here, starting with a warm welcome when we arrived. The restaurant is in an airy space decorated with paintings on the walls and an assortment of interesting chandeliers. Seating is diverse, ranging from comfortable coffee tables to banquettes and a more traditional french cafe style area Our meal included fresh bread with a good wine, tasty crab cakes on a bed of arugula, chicken cordon bleu, salad nicoise, and a flourless chocolate torte. I particularly liked the salad because unlike traditional nicoise prepared with canned tunafish, this one included a generous portion of seared ahi and some roasted Brussels sprouts. Service was prompt and helpful. It looks like they could still use another wait-person as they get busier. Recommended. I'm looking forward to going back for brunch.

Cute place. Food was good but wasn’t warm. Service was slow but it was Sunday brunch and we came in the second half. We wanted to switch tables and was told they can’t do that. The restaurant was only 1/2 full.

I had really wanted to give my wife a enjoyable mother's day brunch. She loves french. Unfortunately, you failed to deliver. The restaurant is in n awesome spot with great interior design but the food and service were big misses. We waited an hr plus for food while there were only 3 tables. Our server was miserable and projected onto us. The menu had us excited but didn't deliver what was written and for the price we were surprised. Hope you do better, so much potential there.

Yesterday was our first visit to Rue Cler and it was very enjoyable. There were 7 of us for a birthday brunch. They were serving a limited menu for mother's day so we did not get to taste the crepes. But everything we had, including the cocktails,was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Bonus points for accepting reservations and for the cute street patio. We'll definitely be back.

Hidden GEM! Excellent friendly service, lovingly prepared food in the french style. Drinks were super yummy and the place is Uber cute!! Highly recommend. The chef/ owner is very talented and thoughtful. Everything was just perfect.

We have been to Rue Cler several times now with friends and enjoy the quiet space, the great service and excellent food. It's a great location, with great people that more people need to know about!

Everything about it was pretty horrible. I had an 8pm reservation which I arrived time for. The front of house left me waiting and didn't even talk to us for around 15 minutes. Once seated it took about 30 minutes to be offered drinks. I ordered a tenderloin and they gave me a sirloin instead (other guests did get tenderloins). It took about an hour and a half to get food from my scheduled reservation. Overall I was embarrassed that I went here and wasted my money, everything was subpar from the food to the service.
