Rue Saint-Marc is a modern restaurant serving French inspired cuisine in the San Marco neighborhood. We have an extensive cocktail program and a unique wine and craft beer list. The ambiance is stylish while still being quite comfortable. Seating includes tufted leather booths, handmade wooden tables, a beautiful bar-height communal table, and an outdoor patio. An open kitchen allows guests to view the chefs in action.

While the food is spectacular, it was definitely missing the fireworks, maybe we are spoiled, since we try all great places all over. If this was our only restaurant we've visited it would have been the best. The quality was great, but after spending $1000 for 4 it was lacking the fireworks, as mentioned above. I would go back, to try more dishes.

I took my girlfriend to Rue for their Valentine’s Day tasting menu, and the experience was great. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very cozy and comfortable.

Cozy bistro vibe with busy open kitchen. The chef presents many creative entrees, appetizers and more. A unique treasure in the Jacksonville dining scene!

We had to call the restaurant to let them know we would be a few minutes late, they were kind and accommodating. The restaurant itself is beautiful, it had a cozy feel inside and was perfect for our anniversary celebration. The door was opened for us when we arrived, checking in and seating was done quickly. There was a little card on the table for our celebration. I thought this was a very sweet touch. Our server made sure our reservation requests were correct and checked if we had any allergies. We went with the tasting option with wine pairing and added the Foie Gras. We also started with libations. The drinks and food were delicious and the wine pairings were on point. The pacing was lovely and allowed for us to really enjoy the food and each others company. I don't think I can say enough of how much it was worth coming here and I hope to visit again and explore more of their menu options!

My first visit. We opted for the tasting menu. We choose the accompanying wine pairings as well. we were treated to an assortment of delicious hand held little bites before the tasting menu started. Each bite better than the last!. Then the tasting: the first course was a luscious shrimp and mandarin orange compilation. it was absolutely sumptuous with the acidity of the orange playing off the smooth buttery sauce. It is difficult to pick a favorite course , as each was incredible, but the shrimp was probably mine! I was surprised by the unctuous sable fish as was expecting it to overwhelm its' accompaniments-it did not disappoint. Dessert was a moist carrot cake that on its own would be worth going back for-but add the smooth & tangy notes of the cream cheese-OMG. the other courses were equally amazing-if I could do them justice I would write more-please just take my word that each bite was a symphony of flavors-and matched perfectly with the wines.... we will go back. PS-the bread service that night was a brioche-hands down the best brioche I have ever eaten (including my own -I'm a home baker and a bit of a baked goods snob) Our server noted how enraptured i was by it and offered us more. There was that high level of attention throughout the evening..

Nice place to entertain clients. We were 2 couples and mostly enjoyed our food. Beef short ribs and monkfish were outstanding. Seabass was good but not great and the pork chops were dry and not very good. The ambiance was beautiful and a great vibe to the restaurant, would probably return for just drinks and appetizers. The service was surprisingly amateur. Our waitress forgot our Hors d'Oeuvres (Gogeres) and served it with our dinner which was very disappointing. She was nice, but not attentive or very professional. We would have ordered another bottle of wine but she never came back to check. Expected higher end service for such a nice place. The Japanese Hamachi Tartare and Foie Gras were outstanding and delicious. Truly want to love this place, so I will try one more time, maybe it was an off night.

Me and my wife came here for her birthday. The service was phenomenal! Our waitress (Melissa) was so bubbly and happy, you couldn't help but smile. She was very helpful and informative. The mocktails were amazing and the food choices with quality more than made our time memorable. I would give them 11 stars if I could!
