Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

    We had a lovely NYE dinner at Rumi's. The place was hopping, that while they were taking walk ins, I was very glad we had reservations. It was a very short wait from checking in to being seated. Our waiter was the BEST, unfortunately it was very loud that I did not catch his name. The ambiance was celebratory and romantic, and plain beautiful. We were seated in the area that one could see the kitchen - which I enjoyed watching the staff put together meals and make the bread. Going back to the noise level, we repeatedly had to ask each other to repeat/speak up to hear each other - which was the only negative. We had been to Rumi's in the past and sat in another area where it was more quiet, so it is possible to have a better experience regarding that aspect. The food was divine - incredibly flavorful and well cooked. Even better, they make fantastic left overs - since the serving size is huge it is impossible to finish a plate (after also having an appetizer!) We look forward to going back in the future.

    We had another great dining experience at Rumi’s. The restaurant was very busy with guests celebrating New Year’s Eve, but the service was not affected. We had drinks at the bar while waiting for our table & the staff were engaging & friendly. Our server was great as well as the food. We love the salmon hummus appetizer & the Chilean sea bass. Great night!

    Nothing but excellence from the moment the valet takes your car until getting it back. In between we savored a variety of wonderful dishes and enjoyed outstanding and thoughtful service. Our waiter was Giancarl. He was very attentive and helpful. We can’t wait to return.

    Like always, Rumi maintains a high standard of preparing and serving delicious Persian food. It has preserved its popularity and superiority despite growth of similar Persian restaurants in the Atlanta area. We love the food and have been visiting the restaurant on any of our important occasions since its inception in Atlanta. However, I must say the prices are increasingly becoming higher and higher. The restaurant management should provide incentives/ coupons for keeping us coming back.

    The meal was one of the best we have ever had here in Atlanta!  The portions were very large, and the service was impeccable. This restaurant was so noisy that we couldn’t hear the people at our own table, but apart from the noise it couldn’t have been nicer.
