Welcome to Rumi's Kitchen - Sandy Springs! The premier Sandy Springs location for Persian Cuisine. Owner and Head Chef Ali Mesghali’s unique and flavorful touch has been wowing patrons for over 20 years. His previous restaurant, Persepolis, was a Sandy Springs favorite.

Rumi’s Kitchen - Sandy Springs draws influence from the culinary mother of the Middle East, Persia, which spanned from the banks of the Nile River in the west to the mountains of Northern India in the east, and from the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north to the deserts of Arabia in the south of the Persian Gulf.

    Jordan was our waiter. We had a party of 8 some of the food was not hot when we got it . The quality of food is what we’ve expected from Rumi’s . We celebrate a January birthday every year at Rumi’s and our annual Mothers Day gathering. We split our payment into 2 payment 4 people on each check . I was charged twice Hope to get this settled soon .

    There was a long wait (30+ mins) despite having a reservation. However, the entire staff was very apologetic which made it much easier - every process has its flaws, sometimes outside of their control. Moreover, they were really generous to send over several complimentary appetizers and the manager stopped by to offer his appreciation for us being there and also to convey his apologies. The food as always is great and their service is top notch.

    The food was excellent as usual. I gave it only 4 stars because we weren’t seated until almost 8:00 with a 7:15 reservation.

    Delicious food and drinks with great service. Love this restaurant! But the difficulty getting to valet parking with a huge crowd waiting inside and little or no room to stand should make you think about what time you need to go to dine. The noise level is very high and tables are close. Make sure to have a reservation!

    Wonderful experience. Food and service were fantastic. We were seated in the rear of the restaurant in an area that appears to be able to be used for private parties, and we were happy with that location because it was not as noisy as the main area. Can’t wait to return.

    I’ve been a loyal customer of Rumi’s for over 10 years, but unfortunately, my recent visit left me disappointed. Despite having a reservation, it took 45 minutes to be seated. When we were finally shown to our table, it was positioned near the waiting area and close to the entrance, where people were standing right next to us while we ate. The constant opening and closing of the door made it uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. Over the years, Rumi’s has been a go-to spot for its exceptional food and ambiance, but it feels like they’ve become overly commercialized, prioritizing volume over the customer experience. While the food remains great, the overall experience doesn’t align with the standard they once had. I hope they can address these concerns to bring back the warmth and attentiveness that made Rumi’s so special in the past.

    Unfortunately due to horrible traffic and accidents on 85 we were 30 minutes late to our 6pm reservation. In a panic we called the restaurant and the host was kind and accommodating. Upon arrival we were seated within 15 minutes. The staff, food, and energy in the room was phenomenal. We will definitely be back!!
