Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

Overall the food was pretty good, but the execution of the chicken was a bit dry, and the lamb rack was lack in flavor, the only flavor I can pick up in the lamb rack was lemon/lime. Which come to think of it, my beef and chicken only had mostly lemon/lime flavor. The salmon and sea bass I got were A+ execution, in cooked temperature and flavor….so not just lemon/lime. The bread was 6/10, as it was cold and kind of stale. Service was also A+

Food is always outstanding - flavorful. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Ambiance is delightful. Note — portions run large!

Some of the best Mediterranean cuisine in the area!!!! Our server, Richard, was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, and gave amazing suggestions for pairings and starters. We were celebrating our anniversary and my husband’s birthday, and the server made our occasion super special. We can not wait to return. Thank you Richard and the Rumi’s staff, and chefs!

I had reserved a table for two. We were sat in the bar area and we sat side by side. How they call that a table is beyond me. We couldn’t even have a conversation. These tables should be for walk ins only. Not for anyone who took the time to reserve a table. They quickly switched us to a better table by the kitchen. Food was delicious.

This was my second time here and the rest of our party's first time. The food here is excellent, the service was fantastic, I love the ambiance both inside and outside. I can't wait to come back!
