Was seated and it took 10 minutes to get a waitress to come over and take our drink orders. Then only 1 drink came and needed to wait another 10 minutes for the other two drinks. after that it was like a lightbulb turned on and service for better. Food was decent.

Have been to Rusk a few times without any problems but last night was quite poor. They overbooked the dining hall with people without reservation so anyone who booked had to wait. Once seated waited 30 minutes before drinks came out. Once served the food was cold and had to be sent back. Lastly, was told by the server there were not enough silverware and had to wait eat. Too expensive for this type of experience

Thank you for the review. I would like to address your concerns. We did not over book the dining hall. There was a dance up the street for Jr. High and High School students. 75% of our customer base last night, were these students and they were walk in customers with literally no where else to go. There were roughly 55 young people who walked in at the same time. We do apologize for the temperature of the food and the silverware that you are speaking of. As you can see from our hundreds of other reviews and from your past experiences at our establishment, last night was completely and totally out of the ordinary. We do hope you will come back and give us another opportunity.

Good restaurant. Brought the appetizer and meal at the same time. My wife got here salad and pasta at the same time as well. Always seems at Rusk everyone is in training.

Our server, Morgan, was fabulous! Our food and drinks were very good also. The only minor issue was did temperature. My entree was just right, but the sides with it were lukewarm, especially the mashed potatoes. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable evening!

We tried this restaurant for the first time, and it was amazing! Our waitress Megan was outstanding. It was a bit loud, but the atmosphere was great otherwise. Highly recommend the gnocchi, curry, rusk salad and tater tots!

We liked everything except we were at a table near the door and it was cold so some of us wore our coats. I would definitely go back.

Thank you for the review Tracey and I apologize for the chilly atmosphere while you dined. We put a wind curtain in to try to help with the cold air coming in. We will certainly take your review to heart and see what other options we can use to keep the chill down in the front of the restaurant. We do certainly hope you come back and give us another try!
