   It was Valentines Day and I’ve had bad experiences where restaurants are at capacity and not at their best. Our waitress was knowledgeable. The cocktails were very good as was the appetizer. One main dish was a pasta dish with shrimp. It had a fishy smell to it one one shrimp had a mushy consistency. The other main dish was Branzino which was good but the portion was small. I was excited for dessert because we order an apple crisp bread pudding. The portion was large but had little taste but the ice cream with it was good. Overall we were disappointed. Don’t know if I will go back.

   Everything was great! We enjoyed the cocktail specials, a bunch of appetizers, shared a few dinners and desserts and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I especially loved the crispy artichokes and the beet salad is one of my favorites. Can't wait to go back again.

   The value of the food was good as was the service staff. Drinks were good. The food was average. Disappointed in the inability to substitute a dish . Someone in my party wanted scrambled eggs and hash browns . We were told we could do the Breakfast bowl but could not get it without spinach because the kitchen is very particular and does not like to substitute or take away things from their menu items. When asked if we can just get scrambled eggs ,hashbrowns , sausage and toast we were told it would have to pay for each as a side which would be over $30. Opting for a hamburger which was overcooked and the fries extremely over salted . Basically , if it’s on the menu and looks good , go for it but not much flexibility with substitutions.

   Everything is always delicious at Rustic Root. Great Gluten Free selections. Comfortable, cozy ambiance. Good wine by the glass choices.

   We had a very upbeat sweet young server. She was anxious to please us and went above and beyond. I wish I could remember her name. The food was delicious. My friend and I shared the Chicken Milanese, a Mediterranean Salad and of course the Corn Bread appetizer. All was very tasty and well seasoned.

   We chose this place to meet halfway to celebrate a 16th birthday, 1st visit. The manager who greeted us at the door was very welcoming and friendly. Our table for 4 adults and a 16 yr old was ready on time. Our waitress and other wait staff who assisted with serving, pouring water and clearing were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The adults had salads -1 Mediterranean (very colorful with plenty of tomatoes, cucumbers, feta), 1 Roasted Beet with grilled chicken (plenty of pistachio, feta, orange), 1 Caesar and 1 Bacon & Bleu with grilled chicken (plenty of bleu cheese, pecans and bacon)- all were fresh and flavorful. The dressing that was mixed with the salad was sparse for 2 of us- we asked for extra and were each given more than enough extra dressing which was very tasty without overwhelming the flavors of the salad ingredients. The teen had a burger and fries. The burger was cooked just right and there were enough tasty but not greasy fries to share. The candle on the chocolatey brownie desert was a nice touch. This is the perfect place for a Sunday brunch with family or friends. We were able to relax, talk with each other (ambient noise level was not too loud) and enjoy our time together.

   Four of us celebrated our lifelong friend’s 50th birthday at Rustic Root on 2/2/25. Brunch was delish but unfortunately our dishes all arrived at various times throughout the meal - still fine, we shared. We did need to remind waitstaff repeatedly but they were all friendly and unbothered by this. I wanted my dear friends to love Rustic Root as much as I do, and am hoping they give it another try on a less busy day/time.

   great place to eat with some good staples not a huge menu but more than enough options had brunch there with a group of ladies - this was probably my fourth or fifth time there. this was for brunch had the avocado toast with eggs a bit disappointed it was an avocado paste instead overall ok but would get something different next time good coffee and service we will definitely be back
