   I selected this restaurant to celebrate my husband's 34th birthday on March 1, having discovered it through a Google search. Our server, Andy, was courteous; however, he did not acknowledge the special occasion. In our past experiences at Michelin-starred establishments, staff typically recognize birthdays with a complimentary dessert or similar gesture. At the conclusion of our meal, I inquired if any acknowledgment, such as a dessert, would be provided for my husband's birthday. Andy informed us that they do not offer such services and suggested visiting nearby dessert establishments. This response felt inadequate, especially since we observed another nearby table receiving a cupcake with a candle for their celebration. This inconsistency left us feeling undervalued and disappointed, particularly as I had chosen this venue to surprise my husband. While the ambiance was pleasant, the food was underwhelming. Specifically, the seafood Alfredo lacked flavor and quality; in comparison, I have had superior versions of this dish at The Cheesecake Factory. Given this experience, I would consider returning for a casual outing with friends but would not choose this restaurant for future special occasions or recommend it for celebrations.

   Our evening at the Rusty Scupper was nice. The waiter was very knowledgeable, but we didn’t find him to have a lot of personality. Also, the restaurant is beautiful, but they sat us in the back corner where there were two other families, but they were finishing up and left before we received our appetizer and then we were back there with no other patrons. My wife and I like and desire good ambiance in a restaurant and it wasn’t what we expected. The meal was amazing and we enjoyed every bite. All-in-all it was an enjoyable evening.

   Best crab cakes ever. Great accommodating waiter. Beautiful ambience. And we liked the choice of old standards for background music.

   Food was expensive but was excellent. Including tip, an entree of crab stuffed shrimp, a bowl of cream of crab soup ( with lots of crab), a garden salad and a glass of sangria was $108. Our waiter Andy was very attentive.

   Best crab cake in town!!! The place has an amazing view of the inner harbor no matter where you are seated. The service very nice. It's ambiance is romantic. Music on the background...wow! I am glad I picked up Rusty Scupper for my birthday! A must eat/see in Baltimore!
