Bienvenue au Ruth’s Chris Steak House ! La fondatrice du restaurant, Ruth Fertel, avait l’habitude de dire: « Si vous avez déjà goûté un filet de boeuf aussi bon, alors revenez nous voir le plus vite possible !». Ici, la viande est quelque chose de sacré. Le personnel s’assurera que vous passez un bon moment, sans afficher de comportement lourd ou crispé, comme dans certaines steak houses. Ce restaurant, situé au sein de SouthPark, et créé dans un style classique du sud, possède une salle à manger très spacieuse, ainsi que plusieurs espaces de souper privés. Entouré par un sombre bois de feuillu et des faïences artisanales, vous aurez l’impression de vous retrouver à la Nouvelle-Orléans. Toutes les viandes de boeuf y sont certifiées. Elles sont préparées sur des grills à 1800 degrés, et servis sur des assiettes atteignant la température de 500 degrés. We went for their Thanksgiving special. Very disappointing. Turkey was very dry, We asked for more gravy and got a few tablespoons. Carrots were still hard, not glazed at all. Dessert was tiny. Would not do again. Potatoes and stuffing were drynand in the shape of a scoop. felt like we were at school lunch line. Very disappointed for $49.95 each..

A truly wonderful Thanksgiving meal. My first year ever I didn’t cook the Thanksgiving meal, nor did I have to clean up. It was refreshingly wonderful.

Thanksgiving last year at Ruth Chris' was wonderful. This year, extremely disappointing. The bread was stale, our drinks did not arrive until after the salad, the turkey dinners were lukewarm at best slopped on to a small cafeteria size plate. Definitely not a Ruth Chris' standard. The pecan pie was as hard as a rock and was inedible. The waiter was very nice and maybe he did the best he could under the very crowded conditions but still, it was a poor experience. Will definitely reconsider choosing Ruth Chris' for all our special occasions.

Meh. When I think of Ruth’s Chris, I think of a great meal with excellent service. This visit was not great- definitely won’t go back with so many other fine dining steakhouse options in Charlotte. Pre-dinner communication We needed to move our reservation back - but didn’t realize it until the morning of our reservation. I booked through Open Table and tried 2x that morning:mid afternoon to contact them through the messages option. No reply. I called and left a voicemail. No reply. I eventually drove there to ask for the later reservation, which was accommodated. Note- I could see there was availability in the app, just unable to move the reservation since it was the same day- had a pop up that said to contact the restaurant directly. Service while dining We had an excellent waiter who was patient & helpful with our party of 8 that included several indecisive pre-teens. His service is the only 5-star part of our meal. One entre order was super delayed; it came out maybe 10 minutes later than everyone else’s. Sounded like a kitchen snafu? Food Steaks were good, as you’d expect. Every seafood dish we got tasted old. Crab cakes, crab stuffed mushrooms and the shrimp that accompanies the Ruth’s Special filet all tasted terrible. I get that this is a steakhouse but expected better quality in their seafood. Disappointed and many elements left uneaten.

I recently dined at Ruth's Chris in South Park, Charlotte, and my experience did not live up to expectations based on my visits to the Sacramento and Richmond locations. After a long day of travel, we arrived for a late reservation and were informed that our casual attire (sweats) prevented us from being seated in the main dining room, which was understandable given the posted dress code. The hostess was friendly, and we appreciated her assistance. However, once seated in the bar area, we waited about 15 minutes before being greeted. When finally approached, we were told the kitchen was closing, so we needed to order immediately. Had we received menus upon arrival, we wouldn't have felt rushed. After ordering, we had to ask for a drink menu, which took too long to arrive. We also had to request water, highlighting the lack of attentiveness from our server. While the young man who brought our food was friendly and efficient, the overall service was lacking. When our meals arrived, one steak ordered medium was served well done. This was disappointing for a restaurant known for its steaks. To cap off the evening, there was confusion over the bill: we received a check for $72 while our card had been swiped for $150. We were too tired to sort it out at that late hour. In summary, while the hostess and food runner were pleasant, the service and food quality did not meet the standards expected from Ruth's Chris. I hope for improvements in the future, but based on this visit, I cannot recommend this location.
