Sadelle’s is the modern ode to New York’s classic tradition of dining all day. Since the first location opened in the heart of SoHo in 2015, Sadelle’s has become iconic for its urbane, cheeky atmosphere and a menu of hits, including the best bagels in America and ridiculously delicious French Toast. Featuring everything from the finest smoked salmon and caviar to enormous signature salads and sandwiches, Sadelle’s currently has outposts around the world – from New York, Dallas, Las Vegas and Miami, to Paris, Riyadh, Seoul and Toronto. We had a reservation with my mother, the hostess proceded to tell us that our table was being set up so we had to wait . The restaurant was not busy at all . Meanwhile she sat everyone behind us on the line. My mother is 80 years old and the hostess ignored us ! When she finally wanted to give us a table 10 min later, it was the worst one in courtyard, there was still many tables available . She “let ”us move ! Then we waited forever to order and then for them to bring the order with no plate for me to eat out of .. I had to go to the hostess desk to ask for a plate . She was like we are busy right now ?! It was just such an unpleasant experience zero organisation in this restaurant or manners and the food was so bad that day . I have been about 4 times and always a bit chaotic but not like this ! And then they expect us to pay for service ?? What service ? Pity as I used to love it there. But you need better management and hostess.

A member of the party is allergic to shellfish and was mistakenly served a salad with Shrimp. Also a server missed the table with a tower of salmon and accompaniments causing it to land on a member of the party’s lap. While they replaced the tower and salad, they did comp the salad from the bill. For a restaurant this caliber, this shouldn’t happen.

We went as a group of 10, for starters they gave us a table that was probably for 6, we had to ask for a bigger table and it was practically like pulling teeth. We then received our coffee way after our food, they comped the coffee but that doesn’t really make the experience better. There was just way too much delay for an enjoyable 10 am Sunday brunch. Probably won’t be back.
