Saffron Urban Indian Kitchen is a concept Chef Diwesh has been dreaming and planning about for over a decade. His goal was/is to create a space that is inviting, calming & an ambience that compliments his food. We are a "contemporary casual dinning" with a passion for everything hopsitality. Chef Diwesh takes pride in what he serves and his team is equally passionate and dedicated to ensure to match rest of the experience with the amazing food.

While you can find familiar dishes in the main menu, Chef is particular about the ingredients and the overall quality of the food. He is also dedicated to a monthly tasting menu that will be served in the Chef's Table (by rservation only: will be activated early spring).

This was our first time going. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. I would recommend to any and all.

The food was absolutely incredible and provided a fun and enjoyable communal dining experience with my partner and I. Also the apple old fashioned was incredible.

Saffron has become a go to restaurant in Omaha for me and my wife. The food is consistently excellent and unlike many Indian restaurants, they make a very solid cocktail. The price of their food is extremely reasonable and the ambience is very nice and unlike many restaurants, the noise level is fairly quiet allowing for easy conversation. The staff is very attentive and kind. I would highly recommend Saffron

The food was amazing! We had the crab cake and spinach cheese naan as appetizers and Madrasi Chicken as the main meal. Everything was delicious and the presentation was lovely. The service was excellent!

The lamb in the Kormas was tough and stringy. More like mutton and a bit disappoiting for the cost. Kormas was great. Salad was a bit small but delicious.

The appetizers we had were delicous. My husband and I had 2 different Biryani dishes - he haad the spicy salmon and I had the vegetarian. they were delicous and the portions were gigantic. We took home the rice - we combined ours together which made for a nicely spiced rice dish which we then used as a backbone for other meals at home. This made for excellent value. The ambiance and service was wonderful.

This is my new favorite Omaha restaurant! Everything about my experience was perfect. My partner & I came for Omaha Restaurant Week, & the food selection was delicious. Our appetizers were insanely delicious, especially the chili cauliflower. Soup was included as well! I've never had an Indian soup, but it was great! My main dish was paneer makhan. I had a great experience here & will definitely be coming back in the future to try more dishes!
