Safi is an intimate place offering a limited number of high quality dishes. We greatly enjoyed the carrot salad, dates & cheese, octopus, wine and desert pastry. Well done again. Bravo.

Our first time here. Cocktails were lovely! Loved the Manhattan! Also great wine selection, loved the syrah from Morocco! Food good too! We loved the sardines and the sliders and the octopus! Love the decor!

We loved what has been done to transform this space. Love the Morrocan feel and booths with all the pillows. The creative cocktails and delicious food will have us return. The server was the only downside of our visit. She brought 3 of our 4 drinks, then left the 4th at the bar for over 5 minutes (we were sitting by it), having went by it at least 2 or 3 times. We finally asked her for it. Then she rushed us through our meal - 45 minutes for 6 dishes, 5 drinks and 4 people is a record for me at a restaurant like this. I understand this is a wine bar vs high end dining, but that evokes a more casual, lingering atmosphere - not the rush to get us in and out. I hope the service improves because we sincerely loved the food and hope to return.

With an eclectic menu that is always expertly prepared and delicious to the talented bartenders (Morgan being a personal favorite) and the quiet dining room ambiance, Safi does not miss a step. This is a small, cozy, warm and inviting spot on Republic. Our server was Corey and he was engaging and friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We absolutely loved him. We ordered the marinated olives, spiced almonds (addicting!), the dates and cheese, daily special oysters and burger, the tinned sardines and the beef kafta. Literally everything was fantastic! The wine selections are unique and really nice. The desserts (almond pastries and truffles) were the perfect sweet. Whatever you do, order tea service! Delicious! This place overall was outstanding!!
