   Even with the busy night (valentines day) the staff was pleasant and joyful. The wait for the food was a little long but within reason with how full the restaurant was. I recommend this for a nice date night or a evening out with friends.

   My wife and I had valentines dinner here last night. The food was great! The services was very good as well. We will definitely be coming back. I would recommend anyone in the area to consider it for a special occasion.

   We truly loved the dinner. Our server was amazing. Food was spectacular! The only thing is they had the screens down and Really went to see the view with the windows. We did ask several times, but no one opened them even though they said they were. We would go back.

   Our first visit to Safire was excellent and so we decided to return… Unfortunately, this experience was the opposite of our first visit. The food was not good this time. My wife ordered the filet mignon and it basically had no flavor or seasoning at all. My pasta noodles were overcooked and the chicken very dry. The cheesecake dessert seemed not solid enough… Very mushy and flavorless… things just were off tonight. We said high hopes for our second visit and sadly we’re very disappointed. On a positive note, the staff was still friendly as in our first visit.  things just were off tonight

   One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The staff were great and the food was superior! It was clean, well organized and appointed, relaxing, the right amount of lighting and level of music. I LOVE the light up menus! Thank you!!!!

   Great place to have a quiet dinner. They had a great dinner deal, and i also received a complementary dessert for my birthday. Waiter was very nice and attentive.

   Atmosphere here is great. Love the booth seating. We used to come here before Covid. First time back since it re-opened. The food was wonderful. Filet was tender & so full of flavor. Creme Brule was the best ever. Service was fantastic. We'll be back.

   Steak was good I had the filet but my husband had a ribeye and it was tough , the 15 hour potato was not done and cold and then the asparagus was not cooked . I reserved a window seat for our anniversary and didn’t get that either. We enjoy going out but I won’t make a special trip to eat here.

    The food was very good and served hot. The bread rolls could have been heated longer; as it was, they were not even warm in the middle and felt liked they might have been microwaved to warm them up. I was expecting a nice crusty exterior with a tender interior that would melt butter. That didn't happen. My stroganoff was delicious and the meat was very tender, The noodles (actually fettuccini) could have been cooked a bit longer. I had enough left over for a meal for two which was nice. My hubby's pork chop was tender, but a bit on the dry side. The asparagus that accompanied his chop were perfectly prepared and very tender. The potatoes au gratin were swimming in butter, and he bypassed those. We shared a creme brulee for dessert and it was excellent and came with a cute green macaron stuck in the middle of it. The ambience was perfect us as we prefer a quiet dining experience, and the service was very good as well. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and were happy the restaurant was open for Christmas Eve as not any of the really good restaurants in Chico were. We understand the menu will soon be changed and we are looking forward to revisiting restaurant when the new menu is in place.
