   The restaurant has a lovely environment and nice seating. Our waitress greeted us promptly and we were served water and bread and butter while reviewing the menu. Two diners had the cedar wrapped salmon and both enjoyed it, with the exception of the small salad of greens which they said was 'tough'. One diner ordered the Prime New York, 6 oz, med-rare, which came out as requested. I ordered the Filet Mignon, 8 oz, med-rare, which arrived medium. It being a $52 steak, I requested that it be replaced. The next steak arrived almost blue and they returned it to the grill, finally acheiving an acceptable finish. The side of Au Gratin was swimming in oil and not very appealing. This is an expensive steakhouse and should be able to produce a steak to the right degree of doneness.

   Great food options. Food tasted great and service was Awesome. Highly recommend this for a nice dinner out.

   Food was excellent. Our server was friendly and very helpful - especially in explaining wine choices. Only disappointments were: never offered a 2nd cup of coffee, we were celebrating our anniversary and no one wished us a happy anniversary & the ambiance was greatly diminished in that the window screens were not working and we missed a beautiful sunset.

   Make sure to get a booth, I got a window table thinking we could look out the window but that didn’t happen, food was good Cesar salad was basic, all in all 7/10

   It was a Birthday. The Chef should have come out with the cake. The kitchen was finished by the time the cake was brought. The floor staff should have joined. Our lone Waiter sang solo. He did an excellent job. The food was wonderful. However, I ordered Creamed Spinach.. This dish was made famous by the "Prime Rib House" in San Francisco in the 50's. The Chef sauteed fresh Spinach with Garlic. There was a small puddle of Cream in the bottom of the dish. The spinach was too Aldente. It was very raw. Not edible. I am a Chef. Every Steak House should know the proper recipe for Creamed Spinach. It is a classic and should not be altered. The chef should have taken the dish as it was prepared and finished it by pureed it on a blender and added sour cream to the Blinder. This is what people in the know expect when they order "Creamed Spinach". The rest of the meal was executed by an obvious well trained Chef. I will return. As soon as the window shades are repaired. It is suppose to be a view Dining Room. If you are not going to repair the blinds, Hostess said difficulty getting a part to repair it. If you are not going to repair it. Paint a mural on the shades. It is a real downer looking at those gray shades. So happy to have first class dining in Oroville again. Fondly, Mary K. Smalley

   Service was absolutely horrible, our waitress (Sophia) came back maybe twice to check on us. We spent well over an hour and a half there. Both times she missed getting us refills on drinks or even caring to ask if we’d like another one. I thought this was quite odd due to the fact that there was MULTIPLE bussers and waitresses walking around constantly and ours didn’t come back once. The only time she had a quick turn around was for the check… Figured it was just an off night, come to find out as we’re leaving we seen her standing at the bar talking…that right there says a lot…

    Delicious meals and excellent servers. Beautiful restaurant and Jazz music playing very relaxing atmosphere.
