Was told the there was a set menu before and then got there and it was “sold out.” Our server didn’t seem to care to help much and didn’t tell anything about the menu, after we were puzzled. Oysters were nice but very buttery, lobster ravioli was the best thing we had and fried chicken was just mediocre. Drinks were good but never asked if we wanted another drink. Said we were there for our honeymoon and didn’t get any celebration. Another server came by to check on us and was way nicer and probably saw we were not being attended to. A little disappointing after all of the hype. It’s a nice atmosphere and has a range of items, but ultimately service killed the vibe.

The food was delicious but the portions were odd, we weren’t sure if we were meant to share and the service was slow and inattentive which means no one took the time to explain the menu. I’ll give them a bit of grace because it was Thanksgiving and they were managing two menus (regular and Thanksgiving), but it was not what I expected given the great things I’d heard about the restaurant.

Great Thanksgiving dinner and experience. The fixed menu was exceptional.

Our dining experience was exceptional. The dining space is beautiful but we’ve found that so many restaurants here don’t quite live up to the menu. That was not the case at SAGE - every dish was absolutely delicious with an inventive mix of Italian and Latin American flavors. Do not miss the cauliflower - it was the best I’ve ever had! We’ll definitely go back another night before we leave.

One of the best restaurants we’ve found in Cabo/San Jose. Highly recommend Great vibes, modern but traditional design Food was creative and delicious with ingredients you don’t see often on menus. Trust me, they were delicious

We have truly enjoyed every experience we have had at Sage, from the Ambiance, to the staff to the incredible quality of food. We have been extremely satisfied with each visit.

A dream-like setting with fantastic food and excellent service. After being welcomed we entered a gorgeous patio with magnificent smells of herbs and sandalwood. The quality of the ingredients is evident with every single bite: the sweetness of the tomatoes, the creaminess of the burrata, the crispiness of the bread. We all ordered pasta and every plate was delicious. Do be aware that pasta plates are quite large. The wine list is good and they are really cold and served on a cold glass. Finally, the signature service of Mexico shows at every step. A true gem!

Ambiance was lovely. Food was average. Service was odd. Workers were constantly hovering around. It was kind of creepy

We have experienced some inconsistency at times for this favorite but this was a perfect night. Kitchen spot on and all dishes amazing. Linguine Al Nero, Burrata Macha and the Caesar/mustard Romaine Salad are must haves for each of us and were spectacular. New cocktails on the menu were fun and inventive. Great job by everyone on staff on a hopping night.
