It’s a treat, it’s pure euphoria. The Sagra restaurant on the 4th floor of the Hotel offers the most spectacular view of the park and the lagoon of Venice. At the centre of the gastronomic experience lie the riches of Italian cuisine, with an emphasis on the flavours of the Veneto, but without forgetting the unique delights of the other regions or gluten free, vegetarian and vegan proposals.

In a décor of shades of blue inspired by the sky and the sea, the restaurant, with a show kitchen and marvellous terrace looking onto Venice and the Lagoon, is the perfect setting for a light lunch or a romantic dinner.

We had plans to go here on New Year’s Eve and booked months in advance. Opentable even confirmed with us the day before. What they neglected to tell us is the island the restaurant is on was completely closed for the the season. We waited 45 minutes for the boat to the island that never came we didn’t want to miss our reservation so we got a taxi there and it was completely dark we were greeted by 2 security guards telling us it was closed and left with no New Year’s Eve plans. We had even called Marriott that night multiple times trying to get status on the boat and they couldn’t connect to the front desk and didn’t even know their whole hotel and island were shut down. I’m sure it’s a great restaurant when you can get to it.

Very pleasant setting. Exceptional welcome and service. Friendly place. Imaginative menu and we enjoyed our meals.

Easily the best meal we had in Venice and perfect for a special occasion. The food was heavenly and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Thanks so much.

Just ok. Asked for a particular table was told no. It was a hot and muggy day and wanted a table that was somewhat out of the sun and a more open around for a breeze. Lots of flies. Nothing on the tables to help it. Uncomfortable eating in the sun with no umbrella over the table.

Never say anything negative, but the service was not good. I get slow, but the waitress only came once to take our order and never checked back about drink refills. Also forgot one drink when she did check in when dropping food off.

Sagra lived up to the high expectations we had for it. The ambiance is excellent with views of Venice. The service was amazing from the front desk to the servers. The food was terrific across the board. The pasta (gnocchi, eggplant parm, spaghetti with clams, etc) was excellent. We also got mixed salads that were tasty and so fresh. Overall an excellent experience. So good we went back two nights later!

Lovely view especially at sunset. We had the steak and cod ravioli. The steak was tasty, fixed perfectly and a nice portion size. The ravioli was very rich , doughy and the filling very creamy .. a bit much for me. A nice sized portion, however. The servers were all very pleasant and professional, and worked together well.
