The hostess was very friendly and Our Server Beau was great our drinks came quickly but the fried mozzarella and our pizzas took a very long time to come out beau apologized a lot not trying to be rude about it the kitchen including the pizza kitchen needs more people and speed up the process have more staff behind the line especially for a legendary pizza restaurant like Sally’s

Really is the best pizza. They just know how to do it. The wings are great also. Ask for them well done and they are perfect !!

Food is excellent, but even making a reservation, we waited more than 40 minutes. We got complementary drinks but the waiting time was a little frustrating.

The food was good (hot honey pizza) but the music was ridiculously loud and even though there were just a few patrons in the restaurant, they refused to turn it down saying the volume was “pre-set”. They also would not seat us at a table that was less loud, saying that part of the restaurant was already closed (it was about 9pm). So we enjoyed the food but not the company, as we literally could not hear the person sitting next to us. Re the pizza, you have to like very crispy crust that’s a bit burnt. The tomato sauce is delicious.

Fantastic! They always did the pizza well, and just like New Haven original though the service was crazy slow in their first few months in Stamford… delighted to see that they seem to have settled in and ironed out the service challenges… best pizza around folks!

Really nice venue and service. Spacious and high ceilings. Sally’s expanded much better than Pepe’s. Their pizza (apizza!) remained more authentic to the original New Haven one. Make sure you make reservations! Without reservations you may not get the best seating. When the weather is nice outside seating is a bonus.

Service was not good. Salad dressing was sooooo peppery you knew someone in the kitchen messed up with it! Pizza was very good.

Service was very slow at first. We had to ask the manager for help. The staff that ended up at our table was very nice. Waitstaff was complaining by the bar about the business which was not fun to overhear while eating. One pizza was over charred and over sauced. Drink was small for the price. Not planning on eating there again 😓
