The food is incredible. The Dine Around menu was an excellent value. The cocktails terrific! Creative menu offerings and the decor was so comforting and inviting. Do yourself a favour and get the jalapeño cornbread all for yourself…. It’s so good if you share it, you will just want more! The only thing that detracted from this incredible dining experience was the noise level. The hard furnishings and open seating area lend to a loud and echoing noise level and it was very difficult to hear our waitress even when speaking to us at our table.

This was our second time for dinner at Salt and Ash. We loved the ambiance and the food and service were amazing both times!

Fish was extra greasy and had no flavour. Hamburger AND bun were both burnt and left a bad taste in my mouth. Atmosphere was great, service was okay.

Interesting menu! it’s nice to see some things that aren’t on every other menu in town. I had the scallops with bacon and they were presented in such an unexpected and delicious way ! We like this place because it always has a good buzz, but it’s not over the top noisy . Friendly service.

Overall an enjoyable experience. The steak was very disappointing as it was overcooked and very full of gristle. The server offered to recook, but frankly the cut was so thin there was no way to get it medium rare , so we didn’t bother. The pizza and Brussels sprouts were very nice. The server was sweet and efficient.

The food was absolutely incredible. We had the cornbread as a starter and we’ll definitely be back for more. Our mains were done to perfection and the cheesecake for dessert was amazing. The drink menu is varied, with a lot of delicious options. Our server was prompt and engaging. The general ambiance was upbeat and casual, with a mix of people celebrating or just having a fun evening out. This was our second visit, and we’re already looking forward to our third!
